Hi Emily! Actually, it was a big change in some ways to move to VA, but in other ways, not really. Richmond reminds me of my hometown, Madison - being a college town, similar population, just slightly bigger, we have the James River vs the lakes/isthmus in Madison. The biggest differences were Msn being so liberal vs here, and also the weather, of course! But we love it! πΎπ
