akfriis Hi there! I bought the Gucci monogram bag but I left for vacation the day it arrived at my house - I think my neighbors put it on my patio so I’m sure it’s fine - but that’s why I haven’t given feedback. Hopefully it won’t be too late to give when I get back on Monday the 21st! Thanks!

akfriis @emdearmas hey there - so the bag came and I’ve been traveling for work and haven’t had a chance to open it - I did today and one of the straps is totally half coming apart from the bag! You can’t say something is in “beautiful vintage condition” and not point that out in the description. Looks like someone might have tried to glue it but this bag was stitched not glued together so it makes it even worse that There is glue residue as well as a torn strap. Such a bummer!

emdearmas @akfriis hi! Sorry you’re not happy. The strap had never given me any issues and I have used the bag several times. The bag was never treated or glued by me and whole a little loose it’s never been an issue. This is a vintage item and that means wear and tear associated. The bottom corners are also showing signs of wear but should not impact yo ur use and enjoyment of the bag

akfriis @emdearmas thanks for the reply. You were clear in your description about the corners condition. The strap was not mentioned and is not lose it’s half torn from the bag and will need repair before use or it will rip more. If I could send you a pic I would. I purchase vintage bags I’m aware theyve been loved. I like that. You should have mentioned the strap was lose or coming apart from the seams. I wasn’t planning on paying more money before I could even use it.

emdearmas @akfriis I assure you the bag strap was not actually coming apart from the bag when I shipped it or I would have mentioned that. If it’s been in the shipping box for an extended period or in the heat that could also affect the glue you mentioned. I was very clear about the corners of the bag and would have no reason to omit the strap. It has never been an issue of actually coming apart from the bag and wasn’t when it was sent.
