Be careful of scammers. Anyone asking you to email or text photos outside of this platform is a scammer. Block and report them as harassment. I saw the same person trying to scam me had message you also. 🫥

Hello,
I promise I'm not a scammer. When I tried setting up my Poshmark account last week, they couldn't validate me because they don't work with RBC cards so I had to get a TD credit card last Friday, which will be here by tomorrow at the latest and then I can get my shipping labels and get the items I've sold sent out.

I communicated with buyers by email because they asked for me to my photos that way - they were having a hard time seeing them in the App. But that way I can also keep them up to date so the moment my account is validated (Poshmark reps say it will only take 10 minutes with the bew card), they'll know and I can start shipping what I've sold. I couldn't believe they don't work with RBC, so I did what I had to to open a valid account.
Sincerely,
Emily Adamowicz

I'm just a regular person trying to make some extra income, even selling my wedding dresses which is really hard, but I need the money unfortunately, so I can't keep them, along with a lot of jewelry I can't afford to hold on to. But I wanted to put your mind at ease that I've never scammed anyone in my life, nor have I received any money yet from my buyers - that will have to wait until my new credit card is set up with Poshmark.
Sincerely,
Emily Adamowicz

@adamoe8 I was not suggesting you are a scammer. I meant that the person asking you for photos is a scammer because they are trying to scam me as well.

@adamoe8 when they say they can’t see your photos it is a scam. I am just trying to give you advice as a new posher. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad.

@finnryker365 is a scammer. I have had people like that try to trick me into sending things when they haven’t sent any money. Just avoid anyone who asks to communicate outside of the platform by text or email. 🫶

@rosebhardwaj Oh, I understand. I'm so sorry I misunderstood. Thank you for warning me. I'm totally new to Poshmark and several people asked for photos and said they paid, but then a new buyer tried to buy my wedding dress yesterday and couldn't - so now I'm super worried that those earlier buyers weren't true buyers and the money I thought was coming in tomorrow actually won't.

I'm disheartened but it's better to know the truth than stay in the dark. I'm sad at the thought that so many people may have been scamming me. But thank you my friend for the warning. I truly appreciate it. I had thought I got lucky when a bunch of my stuff sold as soon as I posted it last week. I guess we'll see tomorrow who the real buyers are.
Take care,
Sincerely,
Emily

@adamoe8 you should contact Poshmark support. No payments should be processed outside of PoshMark. You should never deal with any payments yourself. Poshmark takes payment and deposits it in your PM account that you can then have paid out to your bank.
adamoe8
@rosebhardwaj Yeah, they said they paid through Poshmark, yet the buyer yesterday was rejected because my account isn't validated with my new credit card yet - so I have no idea what payments I'll be receiving tomorrow. But I completely appreciate your looking out for me. You're a truly special person:)
Sincerely,
Emily

Hi, have you heard of Poshmark asking new account holders to buy $2000 worth of "Joker Cards" from Walmart and photograph the front and back and sent it to their email in order for a new account to become active? It seems like a total scam to me, but I still can't seem to get my account active. Another user says that her cousin did this, but it really seems fishy to me. What's your take? I would really appreciate the advice. I want to get my account active, but I don't want to stupidly be duped.

Hi, for my offer you mentioned that you have different length chains.
I'd like something between 18-22in long and sterling silver on white gold colors.
Thank you
