samantha_boline The seller blocked me from commenting on her post. I was about to purchase the bag just last night and someone commented on it saying it wasn’t authentic. And she ended up deleting the listing and making a new one. And I looked at other Boston style Gucci bags and every single one of them has two rows of serial numbers (no matter what website I checked-eBay, Poshmark, tradsy, therealreal). If you don’t mind that it isn’t authentic that’s fine, but that’s a lot of money for a non-authentic bag.

samantha_boline @emmykittaye it’s fine! I can tag you in some other Boston style bags! And Poshmark will always authenticate a purchase for you if it is over $500. But her bag is the only one that only had one row of serial numbers so I did a bit more research and any authentic bag should have 10+ serial numbers.

samantha_boline @emmykittaye I was also talking to her about the bag on one of my posts, if you look at the comments on my Realisation Par dress. Because I was about to buy it before someone else mentioned it wasn’t authentic.

emmykittaye @samantha_boline oh my goodness! Thank u so much for doing that research!!! I have emailed posh and included screen shots of what she was saying to receive a refund! I agree that account is too much for a non auethentic bag! Thank u for reporting her! Yes! Pls tag me in other Gucci Boston Bags! I am heartbroken this one is not real ☹️

samantha_boline @emmykittaye I’m not able to tag you for some reason? I’m not sure why. But you can search any Gucci Boston bag and a ton should show up! There is one with the crossbody shoulder strap and top handle, and typically cheaper ones that don’t have a crossbody strap and just have a top handle.

samantha_boline @emmykittaye the fake one she had listed was the Vintage Web Original GG Boston Bag. I found a link online for it. But now there’s Boston Bags in different styles. samantha_boline @emmykittaye what I’ve found from online is the two rows, or 10+ digits refers to the model and style. So the 247205 (which her fake bag had-so anyone new to buying secondhand might think that’s all that’s needed) is the model and then whichever digits are listed on the second row is the style number. You could probably always call Gucci and double check the numbers.
