endeegems349 @tsdk74 Hello! I do have a question and I would love if you or anyone can help me. I have a buyer that wasn’t too thrilled with how the dress I sold her fit. Does Poshmark allow returns and refunds, and if so, how can we go about doing that? Thank you for your time!

avenueposh @endeegems349 poshmark doesn’t allow returns for fit. If she already accepted the item it’s too late anyway. She would’ve had to open a case- but she would’ve lost the case if her reason was fit. That is why you should include measurements on every listing - either photographed (that’s what I do) or written in the description. Just always make sure you’re covered.

avenueposh @endeegems349 (continued) People will try to scam also- they know you can’t return for fit so sometimes they’ll damage something that doesn’t fit & say it came damaged so they can return. It’s on the buyer to ask questions about fit before they purchase. You cannot do returns or communicate outside of poshmark either- you are not covered for that and you will get screwed and can have your closet shut down. Hope that helps!

endeegems349 @tsdk74 Last question — This person has been harassing me for contact information, yet will not accept the transaction once they received their dress and is intentionally withholding money from me. I want to know if I will still get paid once I block the person from my page. Since I didn’t oblige their demands of wanting personal contact information from me, they are unwilling to release the sale.

avenueposh @endeegems349 report the account and situation to poshmark. Take screenshots of any commentary. The buyer doesn’t have any control over the funds being released. Either she accepts the order and the funds are released, she does nothing and the funds are released after 72 hours automatically or she opens a case & poshmark sides with either you or buyer. Did she accept the item? Or does it still say “pending acceptance” in your sales section?

endeegems349 @tsdk74 It still says “pending acceptance”. This person was trying to get my personal contact information and after I gently refused them, they still will not accept the transaction. I find them to be manipulative.

avenueposh @endeegems349 I just read the whole exchange. She sounds nuts. You can’t entertain conversation like that. You need to block immediately and report all those comments as harassment. Posh will remove them. You don’t need that all there for people to read. You shouldn’t have sold to her in the first place- asking for all that free stuff is a huge red flag. But you’re new so I get that you wouldn’t know. Now you know for next time- if someone is pushy like that, you disengage.

endeegems349 @tsdk74 In the midst of me filing a report after she made inappropriate comments, she bought the dress. I did not know how to cancel her order nor did I think it would be okay for me to not sell to her (whether she/he might file a discriminatory suit against me for not taking her order). Granted, I was overly friendly, mainly out of shock. I suddenly became cordial after the sexual references were made to me.

avenueposh If something seems off, go check their meet the posher comments and you’ll usually get an eyeful. If you read the comments on hers, you’ll see she harassed other sellers too. Some people are more trouble than they’re worth. And instead of telling people what reasons they’re allowed to return just point them to the posh rules. ”I’m sorry it didn’t fit but poshmark doesn’t allow returns for fit. In the future please refer to the measurements before purchasing”. Have the measurements listed

avenueposh @endeegems349 no trouble. She didn’t open a case if it doesn’t say case in review or something like that. What was the date of the sale? In the meantime go back and flag every comment for harassment, after all screenshots taken, and block her.
