ericaa1987 @thatlovejones how does it work when you want to sell? As in I tried to read up on it online that I think Poshmark gets 2.99 if <$15 on my item if sold & 20% if more than $15? & is shipping paid by the buyer?

thatlovejones @ericaa1987 Hi! Yes, you read the fees correct. The shipping is paid by the buyer, but as the seller you are able to offer a discount on shipping or free shipping when you choose to. Once you make a sale, Poshmark will send you a pre paid shipping label and all you do is package your item nicely, print the label and place it on the package, and send it out. I hope this helps! ericaa1987 @thatlovejones sorry to ask this dumb question, but I’ve never have shipped stuff lol....when you mail it, would I have to pay extra for the box if I get it at the post office? And how do I know what the shipping fee is covered on what’s I’m sending as in the weight of item being sent?

thatlovejones @ericaa1987 not a dumb question at all! I found this on the Poshmark FAQ page: Orders can be shipped using boxes that are labeled Priority Mail, Priority Mail Flat Rate, or Regional Rate. Any other USPS boxes, including Express Mail are NOT allowed and may cause delays in shipping and receiving your earnings. USPS offers free Priority Mail boxes at your local post office. You can also order boxes on usps.com. I hope this helps to clear things up. 😊

ericaa1987 @thatlovejones One more question sorry...so do they take the $2.99 if my item sells for a listed price of < $15 including the shipping or not including shipping? Like if the item sold for $10 plus shipping would be a total of $16.79 so, Is Poshmark going to take $2.99 or 20% since the grand total was $16.79 which was >$15
