Thank you for notifying me concerning your thoughts about the J.Crew Calf Hair Flats you purchased from my Poshmark site last week. I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the status of the shoes upon receipt. A customer’s dissatisfaction does not meet the high standards I set for myself concerning the items I’ve sold on this site and the items I intend to sell in the future. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I strive to provide the best value and customer experience, which is why I initially accepted your lower offer for those shoes. That particular pair of shoes happened to be the most expensive pair I had listed and they were sold for the lowest dollar amount thus far. After purchasing those shoes from J.Crew, I tried them on in a hotel room and immediately took them off because they were too small. I proceeded to order the same pair of shoes in a larger size because I wanted a pair that fit.

I never wore those shoes outside of a carpeted hotel room and not for more than 10 seconds. I cannot confirm how many times they were tried on in the J.Crew store or even if they were purchased prior to my purchasing them and returned. All I can tell you is that I tried the shoes on and realized I could not wear them. They were still BRAND NEW to me and I would have returned them to the store had the return date not already passed.

I could have returned them for a store credit, but I preferred someone else get an affordable, great pair of shoes rather than receive a J.Crew store credit – something I don’t need as I am trying to pare down my closet rather than add to it. My point here? Implying that I am dishonest is not something that I take lightly. Especially, after you yourself stated that the shoes were in excellent condition and you “loved them,” you still went on to say you were dissatisfied with the transaction.

In my time on this site, I have only received five star ratings other than yours. I was honestly shocked and hurt when I saw your comments. With that being said, if you reply with your V E N M O name in the comments, I will send you $12 and you can ship the shoes back to me at your convenience – no hard feelings. My hope is that you are as satisfied as everyone else who has purchased from me and I’d like to make restitution here. Thank you, Christine

@michigancmb thanks for reaching out. My rating was in no ya intended to hurt you. It was an honest assessment of the product I received. While the shoes were in great condition they did not appear “new” as described. I was fine with it because, other than discoloration and wear on the soles, they are in great condition. Just because they were “new to you” does not make them “new”. While I understand you cannot account for other people wearing/trying them on I had to give an honest review.

@michigancmb With that said I would gladly recommend your shop to others and purchase from you again in the future. My feedback was honest and constructive and not intended to hurt your feelings in any way. If you’d like I would be happy to provide pictures of the discoloration and wear on the soles to which I am referring.

@michigancmb I did not feel that was necessary as I am happy with the product at the price point I purchased them. Again, I find it difficult to apologize for my honest and constructive feedback as a customer. Please understand it was never my intention to hurt your feelings as a result of a 4 out 5 star rating for a product I feel was (unintentionally) misrepresented.

I received my order but I specifically asked if there were any flaws and about wash wear. When I got the Lilly sweater there was TONS of wash wear to the point there was piling too. Then on top of that there was a hole at the bust and a stain on the back. So disappointed! I filed a return case and Posh approved so I’m sending it back but please make sure when buyers ask you in the future to tell them the truth about an item.

@kristinedouglas hi Kristine. All of my items have their condition correctly listed. When it was sent out there was no hole and no staining. It’s unfortunate your were dissatisfied with the sweater and I’m glad it was resolved to your satisfaction in a timely manner! Happy poshing!
