meli4827 @efisher1 hello. I apologize if you were unhappy with your purchase of the Zara platform sneakers. Just to clarify, they are certainly women's sneakers (purchased in the women's department) and if you look at their women's size chart online, a size 39 translates into a US size 8 (as shown on tag as well). It could not be a men's shoe because even on the Men's Size chart on their website, a men's US sz 9 would be a sz 42 (not a 39 as what's on the sneakers you purchased). Hope this helps.
