@smcavoy55 Thanks for checking! I opened a USPS investigation late last week since it didn't look like the package was moving. I just got off a very frustrating conversation with USPS, and they won't be able to tell me anything about the package until Thursday.

@erinlhenry that's ridiculous! I sent it out and it goes to California for them to check out and authenticate. Did you contact poshmark? It's frustrating that it went from Boston to the west coast, and now it's in NY, I was confused when I tracked it today. But wanted to reach out to you!!!!

I just wrote poshmark, you should write them as well. So they both know we've been in communication, they are usually easier to deal with than the post office 🙄 ....I'm sorry for the delay and the aggravation! 💜💜💜

@erinlhenry Hello Erin. I was just reading a couple of your posts about how the package goes to California for authentication and then to wherever else it needs to be shipped to. I’m having that exact same problem now. I sold a suit, Chanel, and it had to go to California and then on to Texas.

@erinlhenrythe only way anything can be truly authenticated is if you send it to the company itself for authentication. So my question is, who’s authenticating our items at Poshmark? I know all of my items are 100% authentic because I purchased them myself. But how are they going to know? This just slows up shipping time. They should be able to authenticate with the pictures. They could ask for more pictures if necessary. I was just wondering. Otherwise, I love POSHMARK!

@erinlhenry OMG...that’s crazy! I contacted the buyer so she won’t think that it’s me not shipping it. I paid $4600 for that two piece skirt set. If they would just look they could tell that is 1000% authentic. The lining has the interlocking C’s. The buttons have interlocking C’s on front, and CHANEL with the registered trademark symbol above the name.

@erinlhenry if the suit doesn’t fit her properly, she could make $3000 of the buttons as earrings alone. That’s exactly what I was getting ready to pull the suit in due, but I got a text from her saying that she wanted it. Too late! LOL. But I’m glad it’s going to a loving home. She is so adorable! I was going to keep the suit for myself, Replace the gold buttons with really nice ones, And make a fortune of earrings, but it was too late when I decided to do that! I’m happy though.

@nanassunshine2 Crazy. I think it took almost 1.5 weeks from the time the seller sent the item to receiving it at my house the last time I had something that went through authentication.

@erinlhenry No dear they didn’t. I’m going to the post office tomorrow to find out where the heck is my dress. That dress is worth over $500. Of course we sell things very reasonably price here on this site, but for them to lose it it’s worth so much more! I think I got extra insurance on it. I will check tomorrow and let you know. I am so sorry this happened to you. I had a nice little gift in there for you as well.
