coolibahblue Thank you for your advice on the D&B bag I posted. I was doing a favor for an older friend, who asked me to sell some items for her. I personally don't own or collect D&B bags, so I simply trusted that she knew her items. I'm removing the bags today, as I certainly don't want to sell any fakes. I've learned a tough lesson here - be careful when helping out friends! I appreciate your advice, and hopefully this saved me further embarrassment and headaches down the road. THANK YOU!!

Most get mad or offended when you "out" them. Some take down their sale, some delete & repost. Sick of all the fakes. When I see one, you'll see my comments. thomaserine @debbiemalina No, I just have a big problem with people trying to pass off knock offs as authentic. And if you had done some research (as I have done), instead of instructing me to go to some website, you'd find the same information as I have. I get tired of people making the Dooney & Bourke brand look cheap just so they can make a quick buck. And I will continue to report fakes to Poshmark now & in the future. I'm just one of many Dooney collectors who hate seeing this.

rewindnforward Hi! You asked about the vintage Dooney & Burke navy blue british tan crossbody. Unfortunately bag was made in the 1980s - 1990s, so there is no red/white/blue tag found inside; however, the serial number discover through research is A6 374510. Also, product is made from vachetta leather meaning genuine leather high quality trim, accents and piping (please see photos as proof) and embossed hardware or key fob medallion plus the Dooney and Bourke name embossed in the leather.

trymycloset @thomaserine thanks for the offer, but I'm not interested in selling any fakes. I have a hard time even dropping them off to goodwill or something. I feel like it would just wind up back in rotation somewhere. The leather is good and the bag is cute, I was thinking about taking off the fake badge and just selling as a regular leather mini backpack. I'm still sore about it since its the 2nd fake bag that was in the Lot I purchased. I already spotted the coach.

thomaserine @xscarica1 She blocked all of us? If she was a law student, she would know about Trademark infringement. I guess she thought by lowering the price, it was ok to sell it. If she did report us for harassment, they'd see that she was selling a fake. She threw herself under the bus. And now her listing is gone. Wonder who took it down.
