sorry ...that smell must be the dryell dry cleaning sheets i used.i try to clean everything before I send it. it was a new box off sheets and I think a different fformula. I thought it smelled strong also. i will have to switch back

@pinupthrift79 Hi, thanks for the response. I use dryell at home also, and it can be a little strong sometimes. I hope the airing out will be fine. I consider myself someone who notices smells, but not overly sensitive, so I was surprised by how overwhelming it was. Maybe they are just too clean!! The items themselves are great, hence still 5 stars!!!
