hiermsyes @cherryboring Hi cherry! I have an aesthetic that I pursue once I share items & I’ve noticed the search algorithm works much better once the items have been re-shared multiple times as it’s part of the ‘trust’ coding {lol I work in software design so this may bore most people} ~ anyhoo, just wanted to make sure that message was coming across! I love the mug ~ I had a certain vision of an outfit for the scenery :)

arettas @hiermsyes I'd like to hear more about the algorithm... It's seems like when I share others listings, activity for my closet seems to slow to a grinding halt. Based on Posh's social group platform, one would think the opposite would happen(?).

hiermsyes @arettas In terms of the algorithm (literally purely based off my analysis as I don’t work with them): they do utilize a search engine optimization w/ a cache placement - although I’m not sure which sort of cache algorithm they have set up yet as I can’t read any of the backend code & they’d take up too much time for me to test alone lol - that reads the ‘memory stamps’ & retrieves them to link them up with others who have similar tags involved.

hiermsyes @arettas I totally get it! My sister and I actually are like cities apart and we do still send pieces back and forth between one another {when the size fits bc she’s more petite than my 5’7” frame 🙄} so we’re just coordinating which pieces we’d like to buy ~ lol I know. We’re a lot. 🙈
