A few things that I have learned over the years:
~ good lighting (opening a nearby window usually works)
~ show the whole item (if it’s longer than the square picture, back up and get a whole view. Then you can add extra pictures close up.)
~ always be honest if there is damage (some people don’t care if a button is missing because they can replace it, but others don’t want to do that. So be honest upfront)

~ don’t respond to comments asking you to email them (it’s a scam and not allowed on Poshmark)
~ share your items (the more you share, the more others will see your items)
~ share others items (sharing is caring; they’ll usually share your stuff as a thank you)
~ ask your buyers to use the offer button instead of commenting (once a comment is there, it can never be deleted. You don’t want people to see your private negotiations)

~ do your best to ship within three days of someone making an order
~ don’t forget to turn on vacation mode! (This is super important so that you don’t get a sale when gone, or moving)
~ a thank you card in your package goes a long way and makes your customer feel special (your customer may also then want to write you a glowing review)
~ have fun and don’t stress ☺️
