I am founder of FITRAH, a non-profit 501c3 100% of proceeds from our store go directly to empower vulnerable youth in our community (transitional foster youth, those court-involved, homeless or out of school) They manage our online business and learn skills from this program. matmom04 I’m so happy to have found you. My husband and I adopted 2 young boys who were in foster care. We have 5 adult kids and 5 grandchildren. These 2 boys were 5 and 2 and their dad worked for us for nearly 20 years. He passed from a drug OD and the boys mother was an active user. They were in 5 homes by the time they came here. They were about to be separated and the family asked if we’d take them.

matmom04 It was supposed to be temporary. We involved the mother into our family to help her get the boys back. 3 years later she was still on step 1. Nov 21,2020 was our adoption date. I’ve seen the short falls of the system, and am so thrilled to know you are helping from outside the system. That is the real true help for these kids. ~Bless you my dear~
