mandenstein @danalouf Anytime! Sorry, I got cut short. My son wanted to play outside with a friend and then a mini crisis occurred: Locked myself out of my house. My son had my phone. Had to have a neighbor jimmy the front door lock, to track my phone on my p.c., because I could not find my child... He crossed a major road, at the light. Disobeyed my rules for playing outside. And! He's only 8. So yeap. It's been an afternoon from hell.

mandenstein @clipper_ship Thank you! I bought my dress form from Amazon for about $60, with free prime shipping. I know a few girls have gotten theirs from fabric/craft stores such as Joann's & Michaels; both stores usually have coupons available too!

mandenstein lol!! @clipper_ship So do I! You should be able to find a good deal one. I got my paper backdrop and lights on there as well. Its a great investment, especially of you want to make this a profitable hobby or side business. It will pay for itself within a few sales.

clipper_ship @mandenstein What size did you get?? I have no idea which to purchase! I guess maybe it's best to get a small and just pin things that are too big in the back? I sell all sorts of sizes.

mandenstein @clipper_ship I have a 6/8, it is more versatile. I just clip the clothes in the back when doing cover shots so the silhouette pops. For smaller sizes I either do flat lays or I have an even smaller hanger mannequin that I got from work, I think you can buy those online as well. I would personally say- stay with a 6/8: larger sizes sell faster than smaller, you can clip the clothes to make them fit, and its less expensive than buying an adjustable one.

My BF thought he was being helpful and added bleach to my stain removing concoction and destroyed the dress along with a vintage pair of pants. If I ever come across another dress like it I will be sure to let you know! I am so terribly sorry, but he is sorrier! 😂
