lindachris @pitbullpinup Good morning. I know how overwhelming this is. When I first opened my closet I closed it in two days. I have a very valuable tip I just discovered yesterday. I was trying to use my laptop instead of my phone. When I was trying to login I discovered several YouTube videos. Watch the one with the 10 basic steps. It was very informative and very easy to understand. Hope this helps. 😊

pitbullpinup @atlash1 haha I feel you. I have fluctuated 40 lbs this last few yrs so I have clothes from size 6-14 and yet nothing fits still because I am currently stuck dead in between sizes! I think half of my closet is going to end up being my posh purchases that don't fit pile! I have so much stuff to post still, hopefully we'll find something to fit each other eventually 😊

I need to come up with a few grand right now for this months meds for one of my babies who has cancer so I have to focus on selling rather than buying until I'm caught up on that and a round of heartworm/flea meds for 9 large dogs so once I am caught up I'll be back in the buying mode. 🙂🐶

pitbullpinup @cabbo I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong per se, it's always just a journey to get to where you want to be. The only reason I was able to afford Cherry's cancer treatments was because I had been saving for a long time to start a new biz so I had to spend that $. That's how I ended up on Posh to try a new source of income w/o high overhead. Just a change in the journey. Good luck to you 🍀💜

He is Italian Greyhound/Long hair Jack Russell- lightest bone structure of any dog and yet his bff is the black mastiff who has the densest bone structure of all dogs. And Ivan kicks his butt! Lol I used to have a 120 lb AmBully with an 8lb chihuahua together!

herroyalmomness @pitbullpinup thank you! The spider leg pup I mentioned is an Italian Greyhound. My other dog is a rescue and she is some sort of terrier chihuahua thing, she thinks she’s tough. I love big dogs. My brother has a mastiff that’s like 120lbs (not even two yet) and the biggest love bug! Her name is Moose. Ha.

pitbullpinup @herroyalmomness so cute! i love them all. I have always had a mastiff or two by side since I was born. Our biggest was almost 220 lbs! The only kind I havent had is a Neapolitan because the drool is just too much. And pound for pound the chihuahua was still always the toughest in his heart 😉 Give your pups a smooch for me lol 🐶😘

I had to buy a special car just for my mastiff and he is small compared to some of them. You probably have to wear special clothes just to go visit Moose and fam! 😱 Wait til he's full grown, then it'll really be drool city

pitbullpinup @gigi11155 They are adorable, not my size but I shared the listing for you. Pits are the best :) Sadly I was stuck at emergency vet all day/night yesterday. One of my fosters had a ruptured scrotum from an infection that apparently set in from getting neutered. What a nightmare. Rescue is rewarding but so expensive and time consuming sometimes!

They couldn't even stitch it up because it's so infected so he has to be on meds until Wed when he sees the other vet to see if it's cleared up enough to closed up. I feel awful for him but he'll get thru it. In the meantime I'm stuck dealing with the upset tummy that has come from the whole ordeal 🤢 but that's the joys of rescue sometimes!

I have had it happen before because some people hate pitbulls. I can't even walk them in this neighborhood anymore :( They are the sweetest babies so I don't understand what is wrong with people.

They are the biggest babies and people just don't know how super sweet and affectionate they are until they've had one. Try activated charcoal (capsules you can get anywhere, Walmart, Target, CVS) if you think they ate some poison.

raygirlsparkles Activated charcoal is harmless and absorbs poisons. They give it when people OD. I give mine a few capsules every few hours hidden in hotdogs, if I feel they ate something bad. Once mine ate a half bottle of antibiotics! Good luck! <3

And interestingly I have found that 9 out of 10 people who hate pits have never even met one. It's so crazy! I make it my life's mission to spread the word about how misunderstood they are. It all started with one magazine article in the 80's and the media has ran with it. Nice to 'meet' you 😘

cathyfrangos First of all thank you so much for sharing back so much of my closet! Secondly I applaud you for your efforts in animal rescue. My husband and I over the years have had five dogs all who were rescue or strays. Our dog Mr. Bear,90#Chow is 13 and we know the inevitable is coming soon. I'm afraid this will have to be the last of our dogs as my husband is now 85 and it's kind of tough taking care of these great big dogs. So I applaud your effort. We're big donators to the animal shelters in town

All of my dogs are what we call 'bear clan' (I'm Native American so that's one of our cultural things). So each dog is called their first name followed by bear - Hokabear, IvanBear, CherryBerry, FrankieBear, and my current foster is in his own little lion clan since his name is Leo. Lol

pitbullpinup @cathyfrangos sadly. Anyway, maybe when your beloved beloved bear crosses over you can do hospice fostering for senior pups, perhaps smaller ones? They dont require much, just a place to sleep to live out their days in peace after their owners either passed or abandoned them for a puppy. Just something to think about as we have a huge need for that. Certain rescues specialize in placement like that and will cover all medical expenses

pitbullpinup @bishopsma Aw thank you so much, I appreciate the kind words. If you’re interested in rescue I suggest starting with fostering for a reputable group with an easy dog and work on getting used to all that entails with their guidance if you haven’t yet. Then eventually you can take on tougher cases maybe and learn the ropes while saving 1 at a time. Also volunteering at the shelter or w/ a rescue. You make a lot of contacts that way who can help you out down the line. Good luck :)

kuchler do foster or rescue? I rescued rottweilers and fell in love with the breed, i am on my third boy Dieter he is certainly a handful. I also have a Norweign Elkhound i rescued from breeders she was a oops. mom got with the Catahoula so shes mixed they would have killed her. I have some bad news about the order, I was trying hard to firt all in a box and could not I did not quite get a look but i may have punctured a shoe,it would not fit and i had to get to work (nights) thoughts??

pitbullpinup @kuchler As far as rescue, I do all aspects. I’m a board member for a 501c, I foster for several other rescue groups as well and I rehab mostly pit bulls, a lot of former fighting dogs or severe neglect and abuse cases. I pay for a lot of them on my own dime so posh helps me offset some of the costs. I also use my other online acts to raise $ for Villalobos as well. Congrats on your rescues, we need more people stepping up to pick up where the bad people damaged them.

I have purchased items from other closets closing in order to flip them before. And we use art items for raffles and silent auctions at our fund raisers so those are great as well. I’ve posted the tiny ones first because I started with Halloween costumes and got tons of requests for small ones. There are a lot of larger sizes in there though under the size drop down boxes. pitbullpinup @mlhoffmeier I put a ridiculous amount of my own $ into rescue and last yr my bestest girl got cancer and the treatments set me back over 40k in 1 yr and now its ongoing meds and check ups. I have fibromyalgia and cant work as much as I used to so I started posh to be able to offset these costs. It’s a little frustrating how insanely low the offers can be though, especially considering my situation. I spent 2 hrs posting nwt animal outfits for a lady and she offered me $7 for a bundle lol

I have so many boxes of clothes but we also just sold a bunch at a fund raiser so I don’t know exactly which ones are left at the moment. I follow a lot of resellers on youtube and try to figure out how the bigger sellers are doing it. I have a 5 star rating so I figured by now I’d get some buyers who weren’t expecting nearly free but I guess it just takes time. We’ll get there 😉🤞🏽

Have you ever tried kratom? I take several kinds & mix it w/ ginger/cinnamon/turmeric/blk pepper and lemon aid (citric acid makes it work better) All anti inflammatory and help with pain, or sleep/energy depending on the kratom strain. I deal with eye issues as well though, tardive dyskinesia, side effect of fibro meds that didnt agree with me unfortunately. People have robbed him blind before his body was even cold so it has been an absolute nightmare and all on me to handle. One of my fosters was hit by a car too so now fighting w/ the adopter. bessthemess @pitbullpinup nope no special date, doesn’t even matter if it takes months lol I just wanted it to go with this plaid Tripp skirt I have, which has a patch work of different plaids and one is that same yellow plaid that Tripp uses. but I could buy a Tripp item in that same plaid, and use the material for making the belt or send it for making the belt. I did find a similar belt in red plaid with the orings.
