kidzcloths626 @britboutique Hi, yes I remember seeing you in share. I know that Poshmark is set up differently and I do hope that they consider changing their sharing format. It much more time consuming to share on Poshmark. My closet is on vacation mode right now, I am recovering from surgery and just need to heal before I can figure out all this Poshmark stuff. Once I'm back, I'll keep in touch in case I find some tips that may help both of us.

Had quite a few of the same little girl outfits when my daughter was a baby. 😉 I'm happy to do bigger discounts for bigger bundles if there was anything you wanted to grab. Generally I do 10% off 2, 15% off 4 or 20% off 6+ just as a guideline.

I had looked into KId, before coming on to posh but I didn't love the format and the deal breaker for me is that I can't cash out by check. How are you doing on here?

skyeyas I've had some sales on here for kids items but no where as much as I was doing on Totspot. What I liked about Totspot was their shipping fee. I liked that you had the option of selecting the weight of an item. Buyers were more likely to purchase just one thing because the shipping was only $3.99 if it was underneath 13oz. And if you spent $25 or more shipping was still pretty cheap, at least I thought so. I think Poshmark should have some thing similar.

skyeyas @kidzcloths626 sometimes I like items in another seller's closet but I don't want to pay almost $7 for shipping for just one item. Sometimes that person may not have other items that I am interested in so I really don't want to spend $7 for just one item (for children's clothing).

kidzcloths626 @skyeyas I agree, I do wish there was an option for under 2lbs that is cheaper. I find the best way to get changes like this is to write in to support. I write in whenever I think of something that would make the app easier, better, more user friendly, etc. I think the more people tell them that they want another shipping option the more people will use it. The thing is that before there were kid items, there wasn't a need for a lighter weight option.

kidzcloths626 On the other hand, I like that its all priority mail. I can order stuff from macys (I pay $6 for shipping) and it takes over a week to get to me, I order from Posh (pay $6.49) and have it in 2 days, it definitely sucks paying for it for 1 or 2 items though.

As of now, I am doing just as well on here as I was on TS, but I do have to put more time in to POSH, it takes longer to share and because there are so many more people on here, I have to share more often.

I only take certain items (as of now only children's items under 5T) and they must be in a certain condition. Posh takes 20%, I take 40% owner gets 40% (unless purchase price is under $15) but I Bundle to try to avoid that.

My contract is fairly detailed to protect both me and the owner of the items. Even with family, I have email contracts so there is never any confusion. I do put some time and love in to all my postings, so it's always appreciated when someone gives such a wonderful compliment like you did. I'm happy to help in any way I can. I have done pretty week for myself on here but it takes a village. Just a few tips: sharing is key, I run a KIDS share group. Also Posh parties and building your following helps too. Having clear clean pictures and good descriptions.

kidzcloths626 @ashleyandme01 sure. I'll tag you in my info post. But the gist is that you sign up, it's for a week (M-F) and you get assigned a buddy. You share each other's closets 3x/day 20 items EACH time. It definitely helps boost following likes and sales.

Each closet gets a buddy and you share each other 3x/day 20 shares each time, spaced at least an hour apart. I'm going to tag you in my chat and info listing, where it gives more details.

kidzcloths626 @divertida1 I use Snapseed, I just turn up the transparency to create more of a watermark. Most apps with the ability to add text allow you to edit how transparent the lettering is. I started watermarking after multiple people were "stealing" my photos.

Yes I do take all my pictures with my items on Foamcore (it’s thicker poster board) I also use an app called Snapseed to make the backgrounds more even and to place my closet watermark. (I’ve had someone steal my pictures in the past so now I watermark my cover shots.)

One of the things I find getting me lots of traffic that is a little out of the normal advice is to find others who sell similar items and follow their followers. It drives tons of traffic and it’s to the right kind of buyer for your closet. I try to do this once a week and today was the day, already made 3 bundle sales today. Best of luck to you!

kidzcloths626 @fontanacrystal Okay, added you to my tag list, I’ll post next weeks share on Saturday (sign up by 2EST on Sunday) We do 1 Share Buddy, 10shares 3x/day rotating items (so we don’t share the same items in one day). We sign out only after our third share for the day. Sounds like it’s the “Lite” version of your other group 🤣

1queenemmalani I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do. I have a lot of things that I need to post but I still cannot get anything to fit. Ironically my phone was rated as having one of the best cameras on the market but it does not have a 1:1 ratio. I've tried taking the pics with my camera at the 3:4 ratio & then use an app that is supposed to turn them into a square. It turns them in to a square but 3/4 of the pic is missing. I just can't figure this out.

kidzcloths626 @1queenemmalani do you place you items on something when you photograph them? Like a poster board ? You can do a test images and see where it cuts it off. Then you painters tape or a marker and outline the square the clothes need to fit into so none of it gets cropped. Alternatively you will see some of my cover photos fall off the images and it’s because they just don’t fit. This is okay. Then just take pictures in sections so you buyers can see every part of it.

kidzcloths626 @1queenemmalani I just peeked in your closet. The cover shot of you Earl Jeans is great! It’s okay if the cover doesn’t show the whole piece. And then your supporting images can be closer up sections of each part of the clothing. For max profit this is definitely a “path of least resistance” type thing. Find the easiest quickest way to do it and rinse and repeat!
