@kutekaos Jasmine in the planter and trumpet vine on the wall. I was lucky to get them to look good this year. I'm in Central California and our weather is very mild.

@805_felix those vines grow like crazy here in Texas as long as they get enough water! You might try Star Jasmine. That will grow in mild weather I think. Mine lives year round in the ground and blooms. It's very hardy. Does well in winter.

@kutekaos That's good to know. My daughter lives just outside San Antonio and is looking into getting some good looking vines - what do you recommend? I'm gonna help her during the Thanksgiving break.

@805_felix Clematis and Star Jasmine! They both bloom freely for me. Morning Glory too, but it spreads and is a nuisance if you plan on having a garden or potted plants nearby. Passion vine is beautiful but it takes a lot of water and it needs to stay potted or it becomes a nightmare.

@805_felix I hardly ever get on my email. But some great choices are :Tacos and Tequila, Chuy's, Iron Cactus, Z Tejas, Polvos, Hula Hut, Guero's, Juan in a million, Jardin Corona, Trudy's, Lupe Tortilla, Sazon, Freebirds, and Torchy's tacos are a few I can think of off the top of my head.
