@ephesunn ... my husband purchased the bowler when we were going to events back a number of years ago that included English sporting wear and formal dress of the Edwardian period. The hat made a perfect addition to his outfits. We no longer have need of the hat since we no longer participate in these events. He is somewhat sorry to be giving it up since it's such a nice bowler. The events were in New York state.

@ephesunn ....We were living in Western Massachusetts at the time. It was bought sometime between 1998 and 2000. my husband can't remember exactly where we got it - we frequently went to antique and used clothing shops.

I thought of you today when my husband decided to sell a couple of antique walking sticks. one has a boar tusk as the handle and the other one has an ornate sculptured gold handle. would you be interested?? I will add them into my closet if you would like to check them out. let me know ☺️
