Thank you for your interest in Fidelma & Co.! 'Fidelma' means “beauty” or “constant.” The name has an ancient Celtic origin. Princess Fidelma, a daughter of the High King Conchobhar Mac Nessa, was known as 'Fidelma The Nine-Times-Beautiful'. She was a warrior of note as well. With that kind of spirit, we like to imagine she had great style too. Hence, 'F' stands for fabulous, fashionable and free! Your choices make a difference. In taking the time to browse through our closet, you are supporting the environment as well as a small, American-owned business run by a mother-daughter team. If you receive a box that's been re-packaged or wrapped in newspaper instead of tissue paper, that's the way we like it. Reduce, reuse, recycle right? Likewise, we also believe that every item has a story and a memory attached to it. Whether it be a dress worn to a Midsummer garden party or a coat worn skiing down the slopes, each item we curate has value.
