lenfra @dashofnutmeg hi thanks for the reply when someone said they shared your listing, am i obligated to share they listing also. And where do they share the listing with. When someone say they like your listing, does that necessarily means they want to buy the product. There are lots of times i get an automated email from poshmark saying i should lower my price for all likers, should i ignore that text.

witheveryfiber @lenfra No, you are not obligated to share someone else's listing even if they share yours. Everyone has different tactics to try and increase their sales and that is one of them. They're hoping that if they share yours, then you'll return the favor and share their listings. I think it's a bit excessive and pushy when people leave comments saying that they shared your items. Sometimes I'll share back, sometimes I don't.

witheveryfiber Some people believe that returning the favor will boost you in the Poshmark's algorithm. When they share your listing, it is just shared with their followers. So it does increase your items exposure and chances of getting purchased. There is also social media sharing where you can share an item to facebook, twitter, instagram, or Pinterest which is even greater marketing.

witheveryfiber Sometimes you'll get people who like your items who have no intention on buying it. But typically if someone likes an item, it means they're interested and have bookmarked it while they continue shopping. "Offers to Likers" is a great feature to increase sales.

witheveryfiber Regardless of who likes an item, I send them an offer. But it's up to you personally where you feel comfortable selling an item for. I leave a price margin in my listings so I can make an offer and still feel comfortable with that profit. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions :)

You can view/shop parties this way from ones that have already happened. You will also see when sharing, another option to share to if a party is going on.

1centwiz @lenfra ~ when a party is going, share your items that are per party rules. click around the party info at the top to see options. one option is Host Picks. These are usually the top 10% of all the closets/items shared. Nice place to be for added exposure.

1centwiz @lenfra ~ I love Parties as a way to see new closets and congratulate the Host picks. Getting a host pick is interestingly fun. I began by sharing 10 items of all the hosts of the party before the party and I like to introduce myself to them by posting my closet on their Party post, if they have one, and asked them to consider my items for the party picks.

You can also start bundles by adding an item from a closet, then delete the item and you have a private message board too. Sold items can be used for that purpose too, but they aren’t private. checkedskipper I do have to say that it is considered good etiquette to share back when someone shares your listings! Poshmark is built on the idea that we all share each other’s closets; so we have our listings exposed to a different group of people than just those people “following” us! Share, share, share!! 🥰🥰🥰 If someone shares 3 of your listings, go out and share at least 3 of theirs! Oh! And, it’s a good idea to Follow them, as well! 😘🦋 Ask my any questions! 🤔

checkedskipper @lenfra first, you have to have items that qualify for the party. right now, there is a Best in Jeans Party going on. Since you mostly have shoes in your Closet, you won’t be able to share those shoes! But... here’s where Sharing comes in BIG time! 🤩🤩 A) Tap on your Shop button a time or more until you see the party showing up. It will be Best in Jeans Party.

checkedskipper B) you go into the party by tapping on it and you will see everybody’s listing(s) that they have shared into the party - that fits the criteria for Best in Jeans. C) You share their listing, and you just keep sharing as many as you like! I even go into a listing and open their closet and share more! D) Then... they come back into your Closet and Share your shoes to their followers! What better wait to get so much more exposure for your shoes!!??

checkedskipper Tonight st 6 pm (my time), there is a Men’s Style Party. You Share your Men’s listings to that party! You go into the Party and Share other listings from other Closets! They Share back! And so and so on... 😻 At 9 pm, there is a Style Crush Party that is open to ALL of your listings! Go out & share them, tonight. Share others! There’s always at least one party a day that you can share your whole Closet to! 😘😘🦋

lenfra @isa_pj hi I do not normally reveal my source but a little competition is good for the soul. I buy my merchandise from Macys auction. the clothes are brand new, and still have the tags on and sometimes they come in the original packing. unfortunate, you have to look for the photos your self. if the merchandise have the upc on them, there is a upc website i use and 90% of the time I get the photo from macys or another website.

If you’re still sharing manually you might look into a sharing service, it will save you so much time. Follow @reclothcollect for great tips. I bought her ebook and it has saved me so much time and trouble.

I wanted to return the favor and let you know that Google Lens is awesome for finding items too... if you don’t have the tag, or nothing comes up, try it. It even identified which exact Lilly Pulitzer dress I had.. you might know there are about a zillion patterns and prints 😅 Even matched vintage items etc!
