Hey there thanks so much for purchasing the Sherri Hill dress! My local post office has had a box shortage, so the only box I could find to fit the dress is was a large priority mail box, so the dress is a little bit squished but it’s in there safe. I hope it gets mailed to you alright but I’m just letting you know it’s shipped out and on it’s way to you!🤗

Hi. First I want to apologize profusely for having to cancel the order. I had about 350 dresses in a consignment sale back in Jan/Feb. with most of the dresses here on Posh in that sale. I put the items on hold until the sale was over. I thought I had marked all of the dresses that sold in the consignment sale as “sold” on here. I apologize but it appears I missed marking this one as sold. Fully my fault and I can’t apologize enough for it.

I don’t know if it was the style or color of the dress as to why you chose that one, but if you would like, I have another that is similar in style, but it’s a deep purple and it’s a 13/14 instead of 11/12. Formals tend to run 2-4 sizes small depending on the designer.

The purple one is also a Sheri Hill. I can let you have it at the same price if you like, or if you want a different color or style I have others. Just tell me what you are looking for and I will see if I have anything like it. It would also be at the same price, or less if another isn’t quite as beaded,etc.

@rethaalexander It is sad to hear because I loved the colour and design of the dress. I usually wear a size 10 Sherri hill and know they run small sometimes and I can resize the 12 dress.

@fabruwer The purple Sheri Hill is the only long dress I have from her line. All the other ones I have left are short. This one is the exact style and color of one that you shared. I don’t know if you do your own alterations or not, but with your busy and waste measurements I can alter this 14 down if you want. It would take me about a day, maybe two because of the beads.

And after I sent that last message I did find another Sheri Hill long one. It’s pink, A-line and has a corset back so it ties instead of zips. I’ll get it on here in a few minutes so you can see it

@onlythebest4you I meant with my previous reply that I look for Harley Davidson clothes here in the thrift stores to buy for myself. Because I love them and are saving up for a Harley bike to buy in the next year. We have a Honda, but it is not as good.

Hey there. Wanted to update you. The dress is almost done. It only had to be taken in 1/2 inch, which was 1/4 inch each side and because of the way the dress is made I am doing it all by hand. Here’s the catch. I got sick this past weekend and am now in the hospital. If they are going to keep me past tomorrow I will have my daughter bring it up here to me so I can finish it while I lay here staring at the tv and waiting endless hours for the tests they are wanting to do.

@fabruwer Thank you. I am better and all tests showed everything was fine. They saw something on my pancreas with the CT and wanted to do an MRI to make sure it wasn’t cancer. Thankfully it wasn’t and all is good in life. Almost done with the dress. Will be sending it out Monday. 😊
