graybil Hi Gabrielle, I’m sorry to hear the dress you just purchased from me smelled like smoke. We do not smoke. It was 6 years ago that I wore it only once. We have lived in this house for 9 years and the previous owners lived here for 14 years and they were heavy smokers. I have noticed that odor permeates items of mine if they had been in the closets for awhile. I’m so sorry. I had no idea the dress absorbed it. I will be aware of this in the future. Thanks for pointing it out.❤️
