I suspect it got damaged during transit or was poorly handled after you shipped it. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know. It would be helpful to file a case on your end to posh support! @metalmonarch, I'm so sorry to hear that your top arrived damaged. That's terrible. And as you've suggested; of course, I packaged it with care and it was dry and unsoiled/not moldy. I've never heard of this happening and I feel so badly. I think that you purchased just before Hurricane ETA was in my town.

I would have thought that the Postal Service wouldn't leave it in the rain. Good God. Perhaps it was in an area which flooded.
