gdvlman @chris1525t ya kennedy half dollars use to have silver i think the 1964 kennedy half was 90% silver and 1965-1970 were 40% silvers all other yrs after are just clad..but some error coins are worth Alot youd need to grab a red coin book to go through errors an coin prices etc from yr to yr

gdvlman @chris1525t good luck collecting best place to get coins to chk are coin machines go into the business and ask them if theyll sell you all the half dollars or quarters in the machines i bought 350$ worth of half dollars last week and found 17 silver half dollars then rolled up the ones with no silver an took em to bank to change out for my money backgood luck
