I tried to accept your discount offer, but the system kept showing that I already bought them, looks like they are slow to update cancelation status. so after trying a few times to buy the boots with your discounted offer, and bought them for full price of 70 again. you are so nice! @stephsgr8stuff good morning!! forgot to share a happy story. I was wearing the bracelet, driving, running errands. at some point I see NO braclet, my hands on my wheel. I almost had a heart attack. I stopped, searched my car up and down then drove back to my last stop and here it is, laying on the ground on that same parking spot an hour later, happily sparkling. I was taking off my tight sweater there and apparently unclasped and dropped it and drove away. Whew!!

I am in Monterey County. where are you? please stay safe. praying for firefighters. my friend a retired firefighter told me that the hardest part of the job is dragging equipment up the hill, they are super brave guys and girls. my firefighter friend's scariest experience ( he says) was not a fire but assisting in helping a woman to give birth and literally catching a baby girl one time

@gennniek also wondering how things are up north right now. My eldest son Shane goes to UCSC and is moving back to Santa Cruz next weekend to rent a house with a few friends from College. We get bad fires here, but the fires that were just there really freaked me out ... especially knowing he’s going to be so far from, etc

@bgib07 I am glad to hear that your fires are getting close to containment. ours are being fought by massive amount of help from other states and it's getting better. this morning the air is clear and misty. I moved from Los Angeles in 2017. I love it here. I found a peaceful rhythm of life here. before I lived in downtown Seattle, and then in Hollywood, but always wanted to have chickens and a garden one day. neighbour's chickens moved to our stables LOL - be careful what you wish for:)

Santa Cruz is not far from me, very unique cool place to be for Shane, good for him!! the fires are being contained with a big help from other states and cooperative weather. today is a third day we have clean air and misty rain. looks like the fire season is getting under control. I can imagine how much you worry. there are massive amount of people fighting these fires.

@bgib07 our nearest fire is 60% contained. I looked at Cal-fire map today there are many fires, it's heartbreaking. I just went to the post office to drop off packages and saw the fire evacuees are standing in line to pick up their mail at our location. I've been seeing these people there every day for more than a week

@bgib07 "our" chickens - I don't know why we have them. they just chose our stables to lay eggs in forage storage. I collect eggs when I feed horses, there are so many! I grew up in a very cold climate where we had snow from early October thru May, in winter the sunrise registered around 11am and go down around 4pm. I moved to Seattle right after my graduation from college and it was an upgrade:) the rain didn't bother me up untill 16 years of rain. then I moved to CA

I know about one middle school in the area is being used as a shelter. cal-fire is doing drives for evacuees - as it has been every year, I took a lot of clothes to donation station. unbelievable, huh? fires on top of everything else what's been happeining

I became more appreciative of life. of every single day. of friends, of our animals. of the plants, fruit trees, flow garden around our home, I water it every day and all of a sudden found myself talking to trees ( that are not your thing:) - promising them that I will be watering the, fire or not fire

@bgib07 you probably saw that little white fluff of a puppy on my profile. it was my June birthday present, that I was waiting for since 2009. when I lived in Seattle, I had two pomeranians, I love the breed. this white sweet puppy girl Bobby passed in my arms on the way to animal emergency room. she was having an epileptic like convulsions following Bortedella and Rabbies vaccination. police stopped us for speeding, even calling a back up of two more additional police vehicles

@bgib07 they took there time inspite my pleas every second counts now. officer wouldn't let us leave the car. I finally opened the car door and ran for a waiting vet standing at the hospital door waiting to jump on CPR. it was too late, police stole 30 precious minutes and the officer gave us a speeding ticket, and, get this, he said " have a good night" another 2 officers apologized. what an unneccessary use of force. I don't have the heart to remove Bobby from my profile

Monterey is a Zen, I agree. I am fortunate to be living here, I was raised in Siberia in snowy cold. I posted pictures of the surroundings of our ranch. it's peaceful, but we have wildfires raging every year not too far from us, the air smells like burn now. I've never been in Philadelphia and I love the streets of philadelphia song:)

@bgib07 it was terrible, unnessesary. imagine - a couple with a tiny dying puppy surrounded by three police vehicles with lights on, police officer shouting "don't step out of the car" in front of the animal ER, waiting at the door doctor prepared to safe life and police wasting precious minute by minute. it blows my mind. why do that, right? we are grieving. well be in court - $400 speeding ticket. frankly, it's the 1st time ever when I want to hire an attorney

@bgib07 turned out Robert got her a few days after we lost Bobbie. Robert with his big kind heart, he just couldn't see me so down and crying for days. Bobbie passed,but she has a permanent residence in my heart, watching us from doggies' paradise. Poppy, the new puppy is in my arms, guarded and loved. love is an energy wave, hard to avoid and it's great
