drgerilyndavis @rosamcmillan I wanted to touch base with you because I received the pearl necklace but it was broken! I was going to go ahead and submit it with Poshmark. What would be the best way to resolve this?

rosamcmillan @drgerilyndavis I’m so sorry to hear that! I don’t have another set to replace it with though so there is only one other choice. If it damaged beyond repair then just return it though posh and let them know it arrived broken. Its fairly simply and there should be no reason to deny your request. They will send you a return label and then they will reimburse you after it is put in the mail and it starts tracking back to me. I was so excited for you to have it for vacation.

drgerilyndavis @rosamcmillan I'm not sure if Poshmark was reviewing my correspondence but I wasn't intending on returning it. I just wanted inquire on if there was a discount of some sort considering it was broken. If not, I intend to keep it. I'll figure out a way to repair it.

rosamcmillan @drgerilyndavis I guess I didn’t understand what you were asking for as a resolution. Truthfully I’m not sure if a case can be closed by a buyer once posh has stepped in to resolve it . I think a discount would be fair but as of right now Posh still has your payment and I can’t alter the sale price. I’ve not been in this situation before.

rosamcmillan @drgerilyndavis Maybe the easiest way to do this is to let posh know you wish to keep the order. Then when they release the funds I can just send you the discount amount back via mail? Then you can have the items for your vacation. Will that work or do you have a better idea?

drgerilyndavis @rosamcmillan I told Poshmark about my request of a discount when I submitted it initially. I'm not sure how it got misconstrued as a return. They had suggested that I submit it as a problem. I think some things are getting lost in translation. The jewelry pieces are beautiful. I did let Poshmark know that I intend to keep the items. I'm awaiting their response.

rosamcmillan @drgerilyndavis I just read your last communication with posh. I’m not ignoring the issue. I’m trying to resolve it according to Poshmark protocol which is what I agreed to do as a seller when I signed on with Poshmark. At this point I’m positive I would rather you send me back the broken item rather than you keep it and never buy from me again. There are a few other Poshers who have that same necklace for sale if your set on that exact one.

I wasn't aware that you had made notations in the comments via the app. The way that it was presented from Poshmark was as if it's ok that it's broken and you'd have someone else buy it anyways so it's fine. I was rather perplexed by it to be frank. At this point, I'm going to ask them to close the case and I can just release the funds.
