jgreen0722 Hi Gilda, l am also a big cat lover. The cat on my closet is Tory she is a tordi like your kitty. My husband and l have done street cat rescue for many years. We and other volunteers do T/N/R trap,neuter,return,and we provide warm housing with fresh water and food daily. So l am a posher and when l see a fellow cat lovers closet l stop,shop and share. I only wish I could do more. I always try to do what I can with my limited time to help animals in need. My Gracie girl is an animal rescue. I got her and her brother from Lake Norman Lucky Cats.

gildabedenbaugh They were born feral but were both very sick and probably would have died if not rescued. After thousands of dollars at the vet, Gracie survived but I lost her brother. 😢. She grieved for him for a while as I still do. Currently where I live, we have three ferals. One was badly injured so we trapped and brought to vet. Couldn’t save him. 😢.

gildabedenbaugh @jgreen0722 We trapped his two siblings and spayed/neutered and released back here. Little did we know the girl had five kittens!!!!! We only see three now. Seems like two didn’t make it but never found them. I too go feed all of them every day and give fresh water. I now have to trap the three surviving kittens soon to spay/neuter and return before they reproduce too. Love people with big hearts and care about animals like myself. Love you for what you do!!!! 😘

jgreen0722 I was so happy to read that you do Rescue and T/N/R every cat is a victory, and you have done more than most. See if there are any rescues for abandon or feral cats that might help you. Also call your local shelter and tell them what you do, and ask them if they can spare any food,that always helps. I have also learned to call moving companies to get wood crates to turn into shelters,l just call and tell them what lam doing and ask for the donation of wood crates. Let’s keep in touch. 🐈💕
