deadlyhandsome I’m interested in the 7 1/2 long oval Dobbs fedora you have listed. A couple of things: this was a working man’s hat and not even a mid-level hat. The 5th Ave., New York address was the Dobbs corporate headquarters and not a boutique; Dobbs was one of the biggest manufacturers of hats and made millions of them. The hat is fur felt and doesn’t have any wool content. I’m not interested in making you an offer, but if you decide to lower the price please let me know.

deadlyhandsome @gtor124 No worries. I should also have added that it’s not a bowler. This is an open crown fedora. Until a few decades ago, fedoras were mostly made “open crown” so the buyer could crease them in whatever style they preferred.

trendicindi Hi I just received your rating, I never advertised that they were chocolate so I didn’t understand the low rating. They were as pictured and I did quick shipping. If you would have ask if they were chocolate I would have been honest and said no. I’m all for people asking as many questions as needed.

katescurations Hey, gotta say I’m confused by your yo-yoing offers. A starting ask of 70% of the already discounted list price followed by several days of slight increases, and then a sudden $20 decrease is 🤔. I honestly thought that decrease was a typo on your end. But I’ve realized it wasn’t. If this is a negotiation strategy, I find it off-putting and vampiric.
