@ginalynn1972 Hey there. Honestly taking good photos is your first mission. The first thing someone will see is the first initial photo to see if they want to look at the item. Second is the title, so when someone searches your item they will find it. Third is the description: the quality, the cut, how to style it. Brand recognition is usually how an item will sell. Put the correct $ numbers for initial cost and also a low, reasonable price for selling.

@ginalynn1972 People are interested in very low cost here, say 25% of the total unless an item that is well known and still not depreciated in value, even with items that are brand new and tagged. As far as offers, realistically someone may only offer if they love the item, and even then be prepared that it could be very low. If someone does offer, usually you might want to take it without haggling because they easily may move on, but that's up to you.

@ginalynn1972 Having a larger closet can also motivate people to buy more, or buy from you, because the $6.49 shipping fee, they have the option to bundle. Share other users items to help pop up on the feed, and if all else fails lower your prices after a while. Every once in awhile update your items. @ginalynn1972 newyorkfashions said exactly what I would have! The key is to have a full closet so everyone has something they may be looking for and also to share your items to various parties that are happening. If you share an item from someone's closet, many times they will share your item as a thank you. The more the items get shared, the more people see it and the more likely it is to sell :)

@ginalynn1972 I myself have not done any trades yet but the way it works is you and the person trading list the item for $3. You both purchase the $3. Shipping labels are same as selling. Poshmark does not vouch or cover any trading transactions. Only trade with those that are trustworthy or long term sellers as if someone does not send the item or sends something else they will not interfere.
