stevensteph @medicag the best way to get exposure is during parties your items apply to! Just keep posting and posting to them if they fit the requirement. The last party each night is for everything so that’s a good one to post! Another way is to Follow people and share their stuff and they’ll follow back and share your stuff to their followers who will follow and do the same (or better yet buy stuff! 😆) it’s different but it’s interesting!

jacaranda1831 Hi Gina, Welcome to Poshmark!! I find PM very easy to use, when a posher purchases something from your closet - you print label, package it, drop it off at USPS [probably the best shipping rate to anywhere], wait three days for buyer acceptance - then the funds are yours. Now the hard part is attracting buyers. There is a lots of merchandise on PM - latest stats - 75 million listings.

buynowandenjoy @jacaranda1831 that’s a lot, for to different from the other site I use. Like I just sold the listing for the 10 women’s top and I only pay 10%. The other place when people like your item it pushes it so more people see it. It seems PM, you have to constantly follow people, seems like a lot of wasted time. I’ll see what happens. jacaranda1831 Parties are a good place to start. They are shared to anyone interested in joining the party for that particular item/size etc. When you share to your followers - according to your current stats - you have 491 followers - your items goes to 491 poshers. Go to any closet, share four items, four is more than just passing through - sometimes I would scroll though an entire closet looking for something I might like. It is a reciprocal thing, you share their four, they share your four.

jacaranda1831 Last message for the day, look at your posh stats - under Closet, under My Sales, then My Posh Stats. Work on becoming Ambassador - make the green bars [if that is still the same color] go across. It was not my goal, just happened, you have to have followers, they are the ones that see your shares from your own closet. The PA status is a whole new world. You don't have to find followers, they are directed to your site - like +99 per day. Best of luck.

jacaranda1831 p.s. Satisfying the requirements will give you an understanding of how the whole system works. Comments on merchandise - it's seasonal. Put out winter clothing about August, Holiday about October, etc. COVID-19 has pushed the reset button for anything related to home sewing, bread making, books, crafts, games..... gardening, home repair....

jacaranda1831 @medicag It will be 3 years June. Suppose to be just for a while and no longer. Ha, 3 years and i'm still here. My original goal was to sell of some items that I no longer use, never worn, over shopping... I spent 15 years costuming [you know how your kids will get you involved with things never imagined]. Took my one and only quilt class about 4 years ago. Love it. You couldn't drag me to one centuries ago. Yes, I do use another venue to sell. Any resale site come with pros and cons.

lucky645 Hi, write to lindarug because she was the one that was doing the show. I was just helping her welcome the people into her show. She will be able to answer some of your questions and whatever she doesn’t know she’s going to start asking some of the hosts in a live show and see if she can get her answers that way, so let me know if she answers you if not, I’ll give her your name.
