Meet your Posher, Gina

Hi, my name is Gina and I crochet. I don't mean I occasionally pick up a hook and yarn, I mean I'm probably crocheting while you're reading this. I stopped crocheting and set it aside for long enough to write this, I'm going to pick it up again as soon as I'm done. I've been at this for a few decades now, but it's gotten so much worse since I gave up nicotine. I'll admit, I leaned into it hard.. I might have a problem. You can help me by purchasing some of what I've made so I can buy more yarn - and then make more stuff. You'll notice that some of the items in my closet are noted as my original work. What I mean by this is I pretty much free handed it, keeping notes only for long enough to finish that piece or outfit and then discarding them. I have a small library of crochet books, I'm careful to give credit to the book and author whether inspired by their pieces or outright using their patterns. Let's talk about yarn.. I'm kind of picky. I prefer to work with natural fibers over acrylics. They just feel better against the skin, especially if humidity is an issue. My current yarn collection is mostly 100% cotton, so that is what's featured heavily in my closet. I'm also fluent in wool, mohair, alpaca, bamboo, other vegan fibers and even silk - or some combination thereof. Some of those fibers can be quite costly, so those works are generally done by commission, on deposit. (So not here generally, unless a piece is abandoned.) Thanks for staying so long, enjoy!
