humblehomeco @inspiredaily hey there, I have a question for you. I just connected my Poshmark to Pinterest and created a board for My Closet. But I cannot find my items when I do a basic search to see if my items come up. I did find someone else's Poshmark for shoes that I was searching for like mine. Do I have to do anything different to my Pinterest in order for my items to pop up during a search? Or does it take a few hours for it to work? TIA 😁

marymccreery @harveygi I’ve never ebay’d before. I found PM doing a search on sites to sell my personal items on and thought I would start with PM. What are your thoughts on your eBay experience?

humblehomeco @marymccreery Hi Mary - ebay is good for some items, such as collectibles and men's clothing (especially XL, XXL, XXXL, clothing), as I hardly make sales on men's clothing on PM. However, PM is definitely better for the heavy clothing, because of the flat fee, while ebay goes by USPS and you could lose sales because people don't want to pay $14 for shipping depending on the weight and distance, etc.

humblehomeco @marymccreery Less than 1 pound or flat rate shipping, I pay the shipping, more than 1 pound I make the buyer pay, so PM is better for those items. Ebay fees are charged at the end of the month, while PM you know exactly what you will get when you make the sale. I do both, but I do not cross post, as I work full time and can't risk selling the same item on both platforms.

humblehomeco PM has been good to me, so I will keep my women's and kid's stuff on there. I have a few men's items, but will garage sale those items if they don't sell or put them back on ebay.
