jetth About a month or so, a cat popped up at my house. I named him Jaspurr. He is huge now! Some say Lucky sent him..that would be like him, to send me a cat; he was so jealous other dogs. Ha ha 😉 I'll have to post a pic of them on here.

kellar100 @mellamor Hi,someone dropped him and his brother off at my house when they were about 8 weeks old they were so cute,their vet said he was pretty sure he had stomach cancer and I couldn't let him suffer so I had to let him go at 3 very young yrs old..I really hate it when they lose their life at such a young age but he did have those 3 yrs with more love than he could have ever known😢I still have his silly rotten brother😊

kellar100 @abstractdreams awww I'm so sorry I know that feeling to well sometimes we can never get over losing certain pets😟I had open heart surgery 2yrs ago and 5 weeks later I lost my King Ollie the black kitty in my profile pic he was my world and I still think about him every single day I write him a letter everyday it makes me feel better I loved him more than I can ever say!! I don't think I'll ever get over his loss😞

abstractdreams You get it then...that's who Eb was for me. She came to me @ a dark/difficult time & was a joy until the end. I've lost many pets in my life, but feel like I've lost a limb or something. I saw a book that was "Letters to my Cat" I needed something more grief specific, but took the hint & had a journal made for her (pic in my closet). It helps, and I am better...but I'm not "there" yet.😢

That was all I thought about while I was in the hospital was getting back to my baby I even made my son let me talk to him on the phone lol he would just talk away to me I was so happy to finally be home then my world was torn apart

kellar100 @abstractdreams King Ollie's resting spot is under his favorite oak tree it looks like a little Childs spot my husband and sons are brick mansions they are doing brick work over his spot when their done I'm going to get him a head stone with a black kitty on it and his name I'm getting him one with a vase it's going to be beautiful when we're done even a brick fence around it and as long as I'm alive I'll never sell our property we have 10acres

Workman's Comp was actually great until I was seriously depressed & did not want to leave her to have another damn surgery! They cut off my "benefits" & I've been living on my retirement since Aug!👎🏽

It sounds very cold where you are I'm in Mississippi so it doesn't get to cold here but it rains a bunch!! It did get to 22degrees for a couple nites we're not use to that lol I was so cold almost ran my heater to death now running the ac to death lol you just take care of yourself and don't worry about sharing back!!

rockcandy4u @kellar100 I'm so sorry. The biggest heartbreak I've ever had was losing a pet. They've always been my kids. My last one was Keiba. She passed in 2005 from cancer. Left a huge wound in me for years...she was a retired LAPD K9 Retired at 2 years old for a small allergy problem. She was given to me as a gift. I had her for 10 years. Your cat was beautiful. :)

yamashta @kellar100 awwww thanks. One of my fosters, i've placed well over 100 over the years, is internationally famous. If you ever get the chance to look him up his name is Kuli, the one-eyed surfing cat from Hawaii (the owners taught him how to surf). Like you all my money goes to cats too especially medical bills. I've had so many that needed to have an eye out, or blood transfusions, etc. It's all worth it!!

innerbeautyposh @kellar100 it’s hard when they age!! Last year we lost 17 year old Gracie, a long hair gray &!orange tortoise - we adopted her as a kitten from our vet. She and Chloe were 6mo apart in age but they bonded and it was truly like they were litter mates! We ALL miss her still. 🥰

innerbeautyposh @kellar100 it just breaks my heart when they get sick and I can’t make them better. Our other girl, Gracie, passed last year from lymphoma. She was 17. She and Chloe were 6 months apart but they acted like litter mates!!! We all grieved the loss of Gracie. 😊

I use to have horses and rode every day that I possibly could but I’m getting old with a lot of health problems so I can’t ride anymore I’m in a wheelchair now and I hate it “I’m only 59” but I still have my old reliable horse lol.
