karenwinder630 I love color as well!! I don’t have my closet organized like that ( that’s a future goal) but my home is like that. I paint, sketch, decorate, I’m always exploring with color and I NEVER like wearing what others think I should wear! lamambera How wonderful for you!! Yes, I am a tango dancer, salsa dancer and more...at the start it's best to be comfortable, be able to move easily. You can wear leggings, stretchy jeans and a nice top. Nothing that you can trip on or with any extra fabrics. If you want to dress up a little, really any dress or skirt will do that has some flair or slits, longer look is more tango, no short dresses. The expression of the dance comes from the feet so that is really the star of the show!

lamambera @solsticedragon Shoes are important and depends on your comfort level, when learning might try a lower heel. I'm a high heal girl so I dove into the heals right away. Some of the brands I like are in my closet but if new to this might be good to go and try some shoes on. Main thing is they need to be comfortable... you don't want to learn a new dance with painful feet. If you have a dance shoe store near you I would try on some different styles and see what works. If not, check on line!
