grace_chalk @fashionboost hey I actually do have a question, I just had someone give me their email, and then they offered me $26 (what i asked for) for these NIKE shoes, and then they said they would give an additional $70 for holding it, and she would send me a check via mail, then once the check cleared in my account I would send the shoes. It seems pretty legit, but I was worried that it would clear my account, and then something happen.

fashionboost @grace_chalk it’s a good thing you didn’t go through with this! This is a very common “spam/scam” thing! If anyone ever asks you to email them, flag the comment and ignore them. They’ll steal your item because the check won’t clear and then your bank will likely charge you for trying to deposit a fraudulent check. You definitely lucked out!

grace_chalk @fashionboost Hello! It’s me again haha! I have another question for a odd situation! Someone just bought my painting for $60, however their delivery address is my personal adress and I am honestly creeped that they have my address - but this may be because i have it in poshmark - but I do not know what to do, it’s like someone bought my product for me to have 🤣 I have not messaged her, bc I wanted to ask you first

fashionboost I’ve never seen that before! Buyers never get access to your address except for when they receive the package and it has your return address on it. It’s likely a glitch! You can reach out poshmark and explain the situation! If you go to your sales page, click “problems/order inquiry” and then “contact support” then you can write them a message! Make sure you don’t send follow up emails because it will push you further down in the queue. They should respond and tell you how to proceed!

fashionboost @grace_chalk I meant don’t send follow up emails to poshmark! You can message the buyer as much as you would like! Sadly a lot of buyers are bad at responding so it may take a long time to get a response 😂 as long as orders haven’t shipped, the buyer can go in and change their address for the order and then it’ll send you a brand new shipping label!

fashionboost @grace_chalk of course, I love to help! The poshmark community is so awesome because most people like to help others! Also when we aren’t in quarantine, we do get-togethers called Posh N Sips where we go out to a place like a restaurant, share tips on buying things to sell, how to make sales, and just general other info and stories! Right now almost all of the events are on zoom but they’re still so informative
