kipstang Hi there, thank you so much for your offer, but I just can’t bundle anything with the pumpkin at all. There’s no room and it weighs a bit by its self. And with 20% selling fees it’s hard. This is my sole income after losing my husband unexpected after 38 years of marriage. I honestly do appreciate it. And I do need the income but there’s just nothing I can do. I try to list the best I can considering the fees they deduct. 🥰

kipstang Your so so sweet, yes he has a buyer that told him this evening when he deposited his check and it’s now 8:09 so Idk what he’s going to do. Logan said he’s got until 12, but another regular buyer has begged for the gears since yesterday. Then another buyer wants us to hold all the cool stuff and him send me shipping labels but I can’t do all that off of PM and ruin my standing this is all I have.

kipstang Plus if God forbid after us packing to the hilt and fragile all over the box usps throws the things around PM refunds the buyer and pays us anyway if they know we packed really well. The way he’s asking they won’t . It’s a mess idk what to do. Logans trying so hard at this to pay his bills and help me. We pd him to live with mama and with her passing he’s got nothing now either. I do think that both of the crows on gears would fetch much more than their list and that may be part of the reason why so many people are trying to snatch them so fast. They are very hard to find. Some people will try to sell for a profit themselves. I think it's fair to raise the price personally, especially given the situation you are in. If you don't have to sell very fast

gdk1015 maybe you could ask and sell what I suggested I pay for one or you could try higher. This would give you more especially if you are running out of stuff to sell. I think about how much I love my collection and my son and how I would feel in your shoes. It's awful. Logan seems to have a very good heart as he is trying to take a lot of offers from everyone and has helped the family. Don't be afraid to ask for more on the list and take offers later or lower the price if it doesn't sell.

kipstang Good afternoon, ugh I received no reply from my last message. Awe I have to ask, how bad are the things you bought from Logan needed? I cannot tell you what we’ve both been put through with this guy who, was going round and round trying to get the two things. gdk1015 I've looked for both of these items including crows on gears for several years. It's frustrating. I expressed interest in the punch bowl several days ago, but it was not reserved for me. I also offered $400 for the large crows on gears and it was reserved and sold to Dylan instead for $150. Then, I bought these items outright, and someone is able to reserve them by word alone after the fact because they were unable to come up with the money first. I’ve been after these items since 2014 when I discovered of their existence. They were released in 2012 for a total of $187 for the harvest owl punch bowl stand/ladle, punch bowl, and condiment set.

The offer I presented is unconventional but not unheard of. Kippi’s and Logan’s reputation was never in any danger.

infrasonic22 @gdk1015 @kipstang They would have received a lump sum payment for all six items through Poshmark. One label would have been printed that was tied to all six items. I asked them to ship one item and when I received it I would accept it which would release 100% of funding for all six items to them. I asked them to give me a couple of weeks to get together the money for shipping labels for the other five items.

infrasonic22 @gdk1015 @kipstang Since I wasn’t going to be able to take advantage of commercial shipping I was going to have to pay somewhere between $250 and $350 for five large boxes to be shipped to me. The labels were going to be through USPS and pre-paid by me as Priority mail with insurance included. If anything would happen to those five items it would be between me and USPS at that point.

I’ve been trying to send them the full amount they want since day one of listing. After a few days of going back-and-forth Kippi and Logan decided that they were only comfortable with doing individual purchases. I relented and agreed.

I immediately tried to send payment for the harvest owl punch bowl since it was next in line in the bundle. My funding source dictated that I couldn’t send another payment until Logan/Kippi finished printing the shipping label to clear the system.

infrasonic22 @gdk1015 @kipstang Once I realize what was going on I am mediately sent Logan a message to reserve the harvest owl punch bowl and the condiment set for a day or two. The reason was because I had to wait on them to finish doing what they were doing with shipment. That message was sent a day before you made your purchases. As Kippi stated, Logan was going to put reserved on them. As you are aware they are trying to balance a lot emotionally and are doing the best they can.

Specifically the cauldron, the harvest owl punch bowl, and owl condiment set are very important to me and my family. Based on Kippi/Logan’s requirement of six individual payments instead of one has forced me to go down this route. Funding for the full asking price has always been available. I’ve never made a lesser offer to them because I know they can use all the money they can get.

The only thought I have is that he thinks he's going to sell it for a profit or open some shop or something. Maybe he believes he can support his family with it. I couldn't understand what was happening because I do a lot of online shopping from small shops and everything is usually so cut and dry. Buy now and pay and that's it. I totally get it now. Before I had a PM account, I purchased an item from a seller who had bought it from you guys for a lot less. They sold as soon as they received it to me for much more. I am positive it was yours. gdk1015 @kipstang This is part of the reason why I got protective about the Crows or the Raven Object. I think the market value is much higher than $150. I think a lot of people may have been moving in on this particular item to make a profit. Also, it's obvious that I wanted it too, and will end up paying more for it from someone else. I don't notice anything like that right now, although my pricing for PB Halloween type items is better. I'm less familiar with some other listings.

I wasn’t lucky enough to get most on clearance at the time, not having a huge home I stored them in hopes my husband and I would build our little farm house we had dreamed of and I never thought logan and I would have to go see him passed away behind the wheel of his truck. My life stopped that very minute.

kipstang @gdk1015 I sold on another site for years until my Dad passed and Mama needed me. I had to quit. But those things wheren’t going anywhere. The people at my PB store a hour away knew me and treated me like family, Jay told me to hang onto anything PB because it’s all highly collectible. But when Mama passed 6 months after Wess I had to do something to keep Logan and I going somehow. So I pushed through all the pain to dig everything out.

kipstang @gdk1015 For example, I wanted one thing this year so bad, the Jack o lantern pumpkin pillow, when I saw it on the site it was 2 months out before available but they where selling it online then, so I waited . I lost out, now it’s on another site for $675 and they where selling out, for a PILLOW!!! So it goes to show almost anything neat is well sought after. So I got on the phone and called 8 stores and was able to take some of my PM earnings and found two of the huge brown pumpkin ones.

I already had ordered one he sold, but for some reason this one was higher and again there was the high shipping. So he had to list it higher than the last one. I was going to suggest grabbing an embroidered owl pillow cover on clearance and maybe selling it, but it was available to ship yesterday but not today LOL! I don't know if you have seen the set, there is a fox, and owl, a pheasant, and the Aldo pumpkin... I have all of that set and really like it. gdk1015 @kipstang It's really pretty and the covers go for high usually from smaller sellers. They sell out in the stores quick. I called FL stores because they often have seem not to sell their seasonal items as quickly as other states. I never worked for PB but wish I could have. My husband would probably kill me for bringing home a bunch of stuff. When I want something I check inventory from all the stores online and start calling. I either do a road trip or do a send sale.

gdk1015 @kipstang I used to be a coupon pirate, and then a clearance queen because the coupons disappeared. Nothing at PB is cheap. Now, you can't get anything on sale almost if it's good because the supply is so low. The bat bowl is really sharp. It is one of the few newer Halloween items I really like, but boy did that sell. Here it was gone online before Labor Day. I saw there was a banner that went for 90. I was surprised. Most of these are usually 30-50, sometimes 25.

gdk1015 @kipstang Two years ago I found a banner for just under 20 and bought it because I thought it was a great deal. I personally would not pay 90, but I know prices go up over time and also the buyer may have just really wanted that item. It's tough. Sometimes I think it depends on how long you want to have something listed for too. You only need to find one person to buy it, but you may have to wait longer. Also, sometimes the seller is just really lucky and the right person sees it fast.

gdk1015 @kipstang across the US, but their stock and revenue is up this past year and I hope that means they are doing well. WS owns PB. I noticed PB doesn't seem to do the big seasonal collections anymore. For example, the mad scientist lab had lots of pieces and parts to it to buy separately and you put it all together for one themed party. It seems like that are doing a lot of independent pieces recently. I ordered the first time from West Elm this year and was happy with the quality.

You have the personality and you already have sales experience from running your own business. Typically, the other PB associates are pretty nice too and make for good company. The employee discount would be awesome. Their system also shows inventory numbers so if you buy their things you know what's going on. There are many benefits.

You will get points from your phone number at check out now though without the card. They have a loyalty program now, so that is good. I think you have to spend $500 in a certain period of time like three months and you will get a $15 voucher emailed to you.

I bought the Harry Potter hanging owl light, Logans read every book I stood in line at Walmart years ago to get one for him, and Wess and I would watch the dvd sets on stormy days he couldn’t work. He doesn't deserve that. I just looked up some info on PB. It's funny because it was founded in 1949 but WS was founded in 1956 even though they have owned PB for years. They must have bought it at some point. As far as I know they have owned it well before I started shopping there.

gdk1015 @kipstang I have five children:) All of them from the same marriage. Would you believe I planned to have all of them except my first one? LOL! That's why I am so busy. For a long time I had nothing. I worked in the military and traveled. I lived in tents and barracks. I married someone I met at work and we were able to create a home life for each other. We don't travel anymore. I always loved to shop but never had a home until ten years ago. I didn't have kids until I was older.

gdk1015 @kipstang I noticed that the PB supply seems off. Probably part of COVID. Everything is out of stock early and they are offering lots of random things that are not part of a collection. The collection changes happened sooner, but I think that bat bowl is part of a supply problem. Sold out before Labor Day online and not getting more? Also, I think many PB workers sell online also. When supply is down it's hard to get anything. Hardly any sales either. Everything is just selling.

kipstang @gdk1015 Wess had a son when I met him and I had a daughter, to be honest it was one of those 12th grade things, going out with my then boyfriend and yes the unthinkable . 😳 I wasn’t to proud of myself. My parents said I had to do the right thing and marry him. It was awful he beat me daily, I worked everyday from 2 to 12 and his mom babysat , I had to support her, he was doing nothing. My Dad was so upset that he felt he made me marry him and him treating me so bad that he paid for the divorce.

gdk1015 @kipstang My kids range from 1 to 10. Last year was super hard because I would not use the school system because I just had a baby. There were no vaccines then at all. I was even afraid to deliver in the hospital, although I did and everything was okay. I had read horror stores about nurses giving Covid to newborns and then they died. I homeschooled two kids from April of 2020 to August of 2021 and took care of a newborn plus my four year old and a one and half year old all at once.

Something similar happened to my husband's step mom in her first marriage. She was very young and the husband was cheating on her and hitting her. Mama collected silver jewelry , and had nice gold from years and from jewelry shops from their many cruises they went on. We always went to Disney springs and now we are scared to get out like that, I’m especially scared to travel far, knowing there’s nobody to come help us if needed. gdk1015 @kipstang I have never seen our property taxes so high. It's part of inflation and the super hot real estate market. It really stinks. Maybe you can sell the car to help cover the taxes on the property. As the car gets older it will be worth less and less, so maybe it's better to sell it sooner than later if no one wants to use it. I wouldn't want to sell a lot to someone on this site who didn't want to follow the rules. Things are set up to sell a certain way and ship a certain way here.

gdk1015 @kipstang I have a first cousin who was sort treated as a half brother of mine. He fell into drug use and it was really hard. It was like he became another person in a lot of ways. I think the worse part for me was the first time he went to rehab because I thought that was it and he was going to kick the habit and come home. Unfortunately, it meant nothing. That was the worse let down. He has been to rehab so many times.

gdk1015 @kipstang I found out that he uses rehab when he has no where to go and when a court has mandated it for him. He gets a job then loses it because he is using. He runs out of money to buy then he wants treatment because withdrawal is so nasty. Sometimes he does want to get better, but it never has worked. After decades of use he is not close to himself even when he is sober. I have given up but still hope he finds a level life. Your daughter still must be younger.

You can’t force them to get help unless they are ready I’ve been there to with her. They use the system though, they are smart enough to do that . I knew of one guy who’d over take his meds then go to the hospital , guess who gets to pay for all of that when they drawl a check for being drug addicts.

Wess divorced his first wife when he found out she was a drug addict and ran around with men while he was at work, they stayed married a few months and I found out she tried to draw his VA that he didn’t even get just medical. His parents came to watch her so he could go to Afghanistan. One day he told me that when she was a baby he had to divorce his wife because she ended up being a coke addict. After he divorced her and the money was gone she disappeared and never came back, not even to see her child. He had no idea what happened to her.

kipstang @gdk1015 It is very hard, I had a good life with Wess, we had fun together, he was the love of my life and as crazy as it may sound will always be. Nobody would ever come close to him. You can’t live in fear they tell me but life happens I guess even if we don’t understand it. I just feel like I had no closure, the trauma of seeing him in his truck I still deal with I wish on no one. They had to call 911 for me I guess I passed out. I begged them not to take me I had to stay with him.

Has time went by he was highly disappointed in his son with her he turned out to be just like her and a really nasty person. He treated Wess really badly and used him as much as he could, but he has to live with that now I don’t. My daughter has two sons she let her ex have. That’s another reason I don’t get along with her to well, I’d give my children up for nothing!!!

kipstang @gdk1015 I know that feeling too, Wess always wanted to leave here. His Mom lived beside us and Logan and I took care of her too when she got sick and passed. I told Wess I can’t move far away from my parents, they will age and need me and I need to be able to get to them. I already knew my sister would do nothing and I was right. So again logan and I stepped in. My parents where the world to me.

gdk1015 @kipstang I want my parents to move to be with me, but they don't want to:( My husband had trouble finding work anywhere else so we got stuck here. You are very sweet to look after everyone. Is your daughter upset she lost the kids? How is her ex with them? It's not the same when someone else raises them. They could teach the kids all kinds of stuff she doesn't agree with, even to hate her:( It may seem easier at first, but in the end, she is the one who will lose.

gdk1015 @kipstang I slept in today LOL! I hardly ever sleep past 5:45am. I must have been tired. I guess it's okay every now and then. We had a fun weekend with the kids. It's mixed when the oldest go back to school every Monday. I dated a guy once I really liked but his ex wife was so awful I don't think he was over it. Maybe there hadn't been enough time that had passed, but it had already been a few years:( There are a lot of strange, crazy marriages in the military.

kipstang @gdk1015 She really didn’t care she said she knew she couldn’t give them the life he could he had a job etc. We helped raise one of them, the other was not easy to deal with and always wanted to be with his dad anyway. They are 18 and 19 now and not real proud of who their mother is but that’s something she caused on her own . Gosh time flies…

I honestly can’t stand Wess’s ex shes trash and a nasty nasty person . I even invited her to Thanksgiving one time. I try to have a good heart but if pushed to far it’s not pleasant. 😳 what get me is they get out here on drugs for years and get sick down the road and the government pays them a check every month for something they caused on their self.

kipstang @gdk1015 Its not been easy at all, it affects everything thing I do, I have days I don’t want to drive even to the store for anything, at first I would see what looked like Wess’s truck everywhere. I can’t go to stores we always had , I can see him everywhere, the garden center at Lowe’s looking at flowers etc. It’s something nobody should have to go through. I know I have to move on but there’s just a huge empty hole in my heart.

gdk1015 @kipstang I had a neighbor/friend who lost a four year old a few years back. She drove around with her booster seat in the back of her minivan for months after she was dead. It was really hard for me to look at. I think it's really tough to adjust after losing someone we love so much. I don't know how you had Wess's ex over for Thanksgiving. Was that to help his son adjust some how? Did Wess even want her there after everything she did to him?

gdk1015 @kipstang My husband's stepmom and mom try to do that for family functions some times, but it's really hard on both of them. His mom does it for her children and the stepmom does it for her husband. Today I am lucky my husband is with me. I do a lot of cooking and grocery shopping when he is home. He plays with the little kids and helps get the older ones on the bus. It's nice mix up of work duties for me and sweet to seem him with the kiddos:)

gdk1015 @kipstang The government put a ton of money into drug issues in the last decade. My mom knows someone who works the mental health unit at a nearby hospital in the town I grew up in and they started housing drug addicts on the mental health floor. It's very expensive and a lot of the mental health patients do not receive the same quality of treatment or environment they used to. A college friend of mine became a nurse and worked the ER for clinicals. The stories were crazy.

I try to only cook a few times a week since I spend so much time taking care of kids. It's a lot of work, but in the end, I hope that my children are good people who love me. However we had it under our carport I wouldn’t allow her inside. However I am very southern and I can show my behind if pushed to far. But that was years ago. kipstang @gdk1015 Wess was really active with the kids too, however he wanted to be their friend when I had to be the one to deal with bad behavior and it did cause at times a few discussions. What kind of work does your husband do? We had a tree maintenance business for 38 years, he said he wasn’t going to be stuck in doors. He was so good at what he did we didn’t have to advertise at all, everybody knew him.

kipstang @gdk1015 I know my daughter had a over dose a few years back I hate to say, she said they treated her awful. I said they aren’t suppose to but the fact they know why your there and you caused it on your self is why. It’s sad people tell me she looks twice as old as I do. 😢I found out his son was and still and may be a meth addict for 20 years they don’t realize even when you stop you’ve still wrecked your body and it can still kill you at a much younger age. He has done some horrible things.

kipstang @gdk1015 Just cherish every moment, I can’t tell people enough. Going to the house and my parents things just the same sucks the breath out of me still. Wess’s clothes are still in his dresser and things hanging up, his hats still hanging on the hat rack. I have a glass box with shelfs that I put his oakleys in his hat, truck keys and a few other things he had with him that day in it. It’s hard so hard. His favorite cologne in the bathroom still. 😢

Cruz our little dog he took everywhere with him daily, was with him that day too. We took him to the funeral too, he was his faithful side kick and everybody knew him too. At the cemetery he barked one time at the perfect moment. He’s suffered too, but I’m doing my best with him. Well I’m hoping to try and list some today if I can push myself to it. I have too.

kipstang @gdk1015 I do, I have always cooked big meals. And there’s just no reason to now. But logan and I talked about making some Halloween cookies and cupcakes for fun. My family was really small too. I still talk to Wess’s sister Audrey. We get along well, I’ve tried to forgive her for not helping with her mom either. Logan is everything to me, extremely smart and loving. I have no insurance now, and idk how to find the low income kind, my minds tired of important stuff.

It's really tough because neither one of us grew up by a base where he might work and visiting is hard because we can only go to one area of the country at a time. gdk1015 @kipstang My cousin, who I has been in and out of rehab for years at one point tested positive for Hepatitis c. Now he has to get treated for that. It's really hard on your body. We have another relative who overdosed and died last year after receiving a stimulus check. The junkies took their money to the wrong places. I know overdoses increased last year. A lot of people blame lack of services and depression, but some people who have a terrible habit can't handle any money.

gdk1015 @kipstang Health insurance is so expensive. Every time we find a plan it has a very high deductible. We pay so much money a month for the premium and then for example, my second daughter broker her arm earlier this year we had to pay 3k out of pocket for her cast and xrays...... They don't want to pay anything except for routine check ups so everything else is out of pocket. It's very frustrating. Same thing when I delivered my kids. Huge amounts out of pocket for prenatal care.

gdk1015 @kipstang Our first child was born on the military insurance, we didn't pay a dime, but the others came on private insurance and we owed thousands for each one. It didn't stop me from wanting to have my family but I had to save for it. How crazy is that? We rationed money to have a baby. We say the fact you can pay to create a human life is still a good deal, all my kids are worth the thousands, but it is sort of nuts.

kipstang Good morning , yes they gave those checks to people who haven’t worked a day in their life’s, my daughter got all of hers and she kept buying new phones and drugs and it was gone within a day or so. I hadn’t gotten ours even before Wess passed, so I went to my tax office and she filled it out for me there, so I finally got them. It took forever. It just seemed all the drug addicts got them and it totally bothered me.

kipstang I have never been so excited to age , I can’t drawl his SS until I’m 60 but I may of already mentioned that. Did you say you had any siblings? If so you won’t see any ugly in them until it comes time to take care of your parents. My sister always was jealous of me anyway and it wasn’t even my fault. She had braces, I didn’t, glasses I didn’t, curly hair mine is straight. And she took it out on me too. I can forgive her for what she’s done to me but not our parents .

kipstang You should start selling, with 5 kids you most have piles of clothes. You can get on USPS and order boxes that come free, don’t get the flat rate ones, and now and again just list some. Anything is a help if nothing but you having $’s to buy on here. Lol you can do it all from your phone. Logan list fancy, me I try to make things look neat but I have to hurry a bit. I’ve always got something else to do and the days go by so fast anymore.

gdk1015 @kipstang I have lots of collectible cloth diapers from my kids, many I have not used. I am thinking to sell them. I'm not sure what site will be best. Stuff adds up in our home pretty quick these days. My kids have at least five of anything LOL! As my youngest ages a bit, I will be looking to maybe do some listing. Some years back I tried to list, but the profit margin was so low for me it wasn't worth it.

gdk1015 @kipstang The listing fees are high, so I think it mostly works with collectible type stuff that people are willing to spend extra on. I tried to list books that were still in print. It is too easy just to buy new for the same money. I have one sister. She is a sweet soul but has a lot of handicaps. She lived with my father until he was physically unable to care for her. I used to care for her too before I moved away. I wish I had a bigger family, but maybe some of them would not help

Did Wess know he had a medical issue at all? My husband never goes to the doctor. I am starting to bug him since we are getting older now. I try to get checked once a year, but he never goes. kipstang Good morning, no Wess had been going to the VA for his check ups since it cost us nothing . I had insurance but can’t afford it now. He had cancer on his ear and they wanted to cut it off, i sat with him and watched to be there for him, they cut about a couple of inches off his ear but sewed it back really well you couldn’t even tell it. I begged them to do a cat scan of his head just in case and it fell on deaf ears. I went to every app with him.

Your husband needs to go, there’s things men need to be checked for, y’all have children he needs to consider you all need him. Don’t both of you have VA medical? kipstang @gdk1015 I had a awful day yesterday, I told myself it’s time to clean out his dresser, maybe it was to soon idk, I just sat and cried doing it, his clothes smelled like him. gdk1015 @kipstang I told my husband he should get checked when he turned 40. I am older than he is and I go once a year. I used the VA hospital here before. It's not bad, but farther away and a lot of waiting for us because there are a lot vets in the area. When I got my private insurance I started seeing someone closer to my house. We were young and just out of the military, but that only lasts so long. He's been out for a while and getting older so things need checked out. It's scary.

I don't know how you do it. I'm sorry you had a really tough day. I have a neighbor here who retired and six months later lost her daughter and son in law in an accident. She adopted their two young children and then six months later her husband passed unexpectedly.

kipstang A good Dr is hard to find, they don’t care these days , people are just another dime in their pocket. I always wished I could of found one that cared for you like their family. That’s rare. kipstang Here I was yesterday logan and I trying to get things out to pack to ship, we worked hard and got it all done rather quickly. We get it all loaded up, and I get to the PO and they are closed. I had no idea it was a holiday. I felt like a complete idiot. Mama always kept up with the dates and Holidays and would remind me. So I never had to think about it. You just lose track of days and time, I always looked forward to the weekends , Wess and I always spent Sundays together.

Then you hit your 20’s and your facing the world on your own then here comes kids and you have no time for anything else but them and time flies. But those are the best years of your life. gdk1015 @kipstang When I was still younger, I watched an old lady die of leukemia. It was really awful. She was suffering and bleeding out of her eyes like Ebola. I told myself that biology was the worse things. It's so cruel. It has no mercy at all. I can't imagine being on vacation and losing a family member:( My parents are aging and my sister is not healthy. I suspect I will lose them all close together, although I hate to think about that. It stinks to live far away.

kipstang @gdk1015 So I stopped and I said Lynn please no, she said yes she passed yesterday , we brought her home, got her in bed, she pet her dog and passed. I knew it was going to happen but I prayed not, I’ve seen it so many times. The dr’s know it too but they keep them going as long as they can to drain the insurance. The same way they did Mama. I purely hate it, everybody is passing. Logan told me one day, what’s the sense Mom we live a little and have to suffer when everybody just dies.

Please don’t live each day worried, enjoy every moment you can with your family. You want no regrets , I had none, I did everything possible. Mama asked me for sweet potatoes and marshmallows for thanksgiving and I told her I already bought the stuff for it and she passed the day before, it’s the only regret I have in the whole 6 years, I did things for her.

gdk1015 @kipstang You can't blame yourself. There is no way you could have known she would be gone:( My bestie growing up always had me over to stay at her house. I became close to her family. Her parents lost a child to cancer and their worse memory was that they had wrapped Christmas gifts for him and brought them to the hospital. He was five and so excited he didn't want to wait to open them. They told him he had too, but he died before Christmas. They never recovered emotionally from that.

kipstang @gdk1015 That’s so like me I grew up in a neighborhood where I only had one sister and she’s 8 years older than I am and the neighbors had 3 girls I hung out with one she was my age and I was at their house all the time. gdk1015 @kipstang My kids don't play the way I used to. I use to ride my bike with the neighborhood kids and spend all day with them going from my house to theirs. I almost lived with some of my best friends. Times have changed and parents are a lot more protective now, but I miss those days. The parents that lost their son are like my second parents. They are good people. When they found out about my sister being born with issues I think they could understand in a way no one else could.

gdk1015 @kipstang Thieves stink and a lot of them are super low. I used to help take care of my sister for years and then I moved away with the military and my dad had to hire help. The person hired to care for my sister stole from my sister's piggy bank and from my father. A neighbor witnessed her using taking things out of our home and putting them in her car and called the cops. It was so pathetic. I felt really guilty I was not there to care for her. Thank God for that one neighbor.

kipstang @gdk1015 Our yard is big, Logan mowed it yesterday . It’s hard keeping up two yards. Wess always had one of his crew guys do it so I didn’t have to anymore. Now I think tomorrow we are going to go to the house and do some yard work if I can hold up to it. I think if not for Logan I’d just fall into a dark hole . I’m a city girl turned country lol so we would of gone to probably SC , GA country somewhere.

kipstang @gdk1015 No things are far from the same , we had it good growing up . People could leave their doors unlocked and not think twice . The neighbors looked out for each other . We had a maid when I was little. Mama said she started stealing our clothes of all things and she fired her. I’d love to see pictures. I told Logan Gretchen is my new bestie lol. gdk1015 @kipstang I grew up in a city that had homes close together. All of us kids who lived on the same block used to meet up in the middle and ride bikes and play all day. We weren't allowed to leave the block, but we had each other and a decent amount of space. Those were the days when neighborhoods still had sidewalks. Before I was old enough to bike it, I rode my hotwheels down it. A lot of the newer homes just have a curb so you end up in the street and it's not as safe for kiddos.

kipstang @gdk1015 Yep I know all about that phone mess, and NOBODY knows what they are doing. My account still isn’t fixed. But by God that dude in NY isn’t getting his laptop!!! I have a dumpster have for years. It’s $34 a month.

kipstang @gdk1015 yes I was born and raised on 2nd street back in the day. It’s still there, and the houses are in a small neighborhood too. I’ve often wondered what’s happened to this world . It’s not had to change like this it just has. And it’s only getting worse. Makes me wonder what’s really going on they aren’t telling us. My bank has maybe two tellers anymore and you can’t go in. I was raised with respect for others. I still “yes ma’am “ & “yes sir” to folks. It’s far from that today.

gdk1015 @kipstang My parents won't do online banking LOL! They still go into a store and pay with a check and not a credit card. There was a time everyone was doing that. The people younger than me live on their phones and social media pages. I don't get that. They have a virtual life. Before you know it robots will be doing everything and even providing relationships for people. It's hard to imagine a world that people have closer relations with computers and machines instead of people.

gdk1015 @kipstang It seems like fraud and stealing have gotten really bad. I just read a message about people getting mail out of people's mail boxes and stealing checks and gifts from letters here. That takes time driving to an individual homes and risking someone taking a picture of you in the act.

gdk1015 @kipstang What's your favorite retro item that is gone for good? What is happening to the world? Did you ever tease your hair? Did you ever check out any of the AG dolls and think, yep, I had one of those? I feel that way with Courtney. I remember all of that stuff and had most of it too. Did you ever have a favorite pair of jelly shoes? I had a pair with sparkles in them I loved so much I cried when they wouldn't fit me anymore HA!

kipstang @gdk1015 Yea I don’t have Facebook and won’t , I don’t need people in my business nor do I need them in mine. They use it to fight with one another too and I’d rather be confronted face to face if somebody has a issue with me. 🥴 I was a tom boy but I did love my Barbie dune buggy, I’d put her in it and away she’d go. Lol

kipstang @gdk1015 Mama and daddy where the same way. She’d always tried to tell me, it’s just hard. But now I see with it getting even worse. I’ve called 5 times in total and was told 5 different things and my funds still aren’t back in my account , it’s showing tomorrow and it better be, I’m mentally drained . With this COVID people’s had more time to sit home and figure scamming out to a tee.

kipstang @gdk1015 yes I’ve heard that too. We have cameras at the house where Logan’s phone goes off if there’s movement, I told him all we can do is call 911 and get there . Ugh I just got 4 stars on a sale she said her pheasant plates in the box where not real clean. I don’t understand that they have been stored in a plastic tub for several years unopened. I don’t know how they’d gotten dirty.

kipstang @gdk1015 I messaged her I would of been more than happy to of taken them back before she felt the need to leave something like that . There’s just some people you just can’t please at all. But it’s a part of doing this, you have to be prepared for people who might not be to nice. I do take it personal it does hurt my feelings. I work so hard at this. I live by do onto others as you’d want them to do onto you.

gdk1015 @kipstang Those plates are pretty. I know the ones you are talking about. It's too bad she was disappointed, but I bet if she washes them they will be great..... Too bad for the review...... I don't have FB. People use it to stalk people. If someone wants to talk to me or know something about my life I would like to know about it. Obviously, you can't stop gossip. There are a bunch of weird people on their that will look at you and you may not even know who they are or remember.

gdk1015 @kipstang Is it cooler now for you weather wise? We've been really warm for several weeks and finally it is starting to feel like fall. I love it! I don't like extreme heat or humidity. I hate bugs............ You guys probably have it the same or worse where you're at. I don't know how you go to the storage units in the summer time.

kipstang @gdk1015 My sister got money I got the house, my parents thought I’d want to live in town and not my rural area. You can’t do anything in town. You have to have a permit to dig a hole in your yard, that’s just an example. No she’s never done anything period. Wouldn’t even help with Mama. She’s not asked for anything family pictures nothing . It’s been all put on me. She’ll regret it though, her husbands 10 years older than her and her daughter is really odd. So she’ll be alone.

kipstang @gdk1015 It’s been cool here in the mornings and evenings. Honestly I hate cold too, I freeze and have been in Florida my whole life. When I say storage they are like those wood barn sheds. Wess fixed my PM one up like a little country store outside. Front porch on it and all. So all my things are stacked in tubs in that. So if it’s full it’s rough climbing over everything to find something. Our PO is closed on Saturdays and they close at 3:30 on weekdays so it’s a steady race with the clock .

gdk1015 @kipstang For us, it's been down to 50 or so at night. I love it. It keeps the days from getting to overheated and I can finally cuddle up in a blanket:) It's nice to have something to store your things in without worrying about paying extra or security. Hopefully, everything is safe on your property. I guess you would get a PO that is open a lot in the city but have to deal with other issues. I don't know if I could go back to an urban area again. I like having a big yard and quiet.

gdk1015 @kipstang My husband is home today, so my schedule's a little different. A did a lot of cooking on Saturday so I just had to do some errands earlier. I am paranoid about FB and about other stuff with kids. I don't like people I don't know looking at my children online. A lot of people seem to really enjoy that. I totally agree with you. When I was deployed there were children who were being kidnapped. I got weird about stuff when I had my first.

gdk1015 @kipstang My mother in law tried get my oldest an embroidered backpack from PBK with my daughter's name on it. It was so generous and kind, but I totally flipped out. We took it back for a plain one. I explained that I was weird and afraid about stuff like that. I also worked with foreign militaries that allowed their soldiers to look at child pornography. That was really hard on me and upsetting. Later when I had my own children I got anxious about posting pictures of them.

gdk1015 @kipstang Your sister sounds kind of strange. I hope my kids are more sentimental than that. I was hoping that they would love my holiday decorations the way I do and want to continue on making special memories with them when they are older with their children and grandchildren. I don't understand why she wouldn't even want things like pictures. Maybe she has a mild spectrum disorder? Maybe her daughter does too? I noticed some of my kids are more sensitive with feelings than others.....
