@gwen8630 Sometimes instead of buying straight out someone might send you an offer or bundle the item. Did they send you an offer or just a message?

@jenparis1976 Hello, I have another question. A buyer was interested in some children shoes but they wanted me to email them and they wanted some information from me in the email? Do individuals suppose to ask for info from your if they are wanting to mail a check?

@gwen8630 Hi! No they are not supposed to ask you for any info or try to conduct a sale off of posh like through email with a check. All communication should be on posh where its documented. I think these people are scammers.

@gwen8630 Oh yeah definitely looks shady to me. Good instincts! I've had a lot of new poshers tell me they also got messages like that. They shouldn't be doing that as it is also against poshmark's policy to give out any personal info. Unfortunately there are those kind of bad people out there.

@gwen8630 Me either it's sad there are so many scammers out there. Unfortunately people must fall for it sometimes so they keep doing it. Generally tho everyone I've encountered on here have been very sweet & honest. Sometimes if you're not sure about someone it helps to look at their About page, look to see if they have any reviews/love notes & how long they've been a member.
