It was bad enough in Colorado when I lived there. Which I believe the coldest I experienced was 4°. I miss it terribly though. It's probably around 70 here at the beach, at least it feels it. If you ever come down to North Carolina let me know, I can get you a locals discount when you're shopping. 😋
