neanthebean Sorry you were disappointed with your item. I actually had washed both items in hot soapy water, then before I packed them to ship them to you I sanitized them with alcohol wipes which really shined them up. They were used items, though. Hope you enjoy the can opener, it's a little tricky but once you get the hang of it, it's quite wonderful! I appreciate your business and hope you aren't too discouraged. Thanks again.
