They are scammers trying to lure you off Poshmark and phish for your personal info like CC#. They use fake emails saying they bought your item. Most are not living in Canada either. To stay safe and be covered by Poshmark protection, only use the official site/app. Happy sales!

cubbiemolly @hanny_taylor1 my pleasure. These scammers re brutal and growing. Poshmark is very safe if you stay on the app because Poshmark will protect you. If you go off the app via email or texting, they will no longer protect you.

hanny_taylor1 @cubbiemolly then there was a place where they had to send me a code but the code wasn’t coming through I mean since morning till now I am seeing your message, like I could’ve been scammed all of my saving’s. Thank you so much Cubbie 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I have blocked all my cards and changed the password to my banking application.

cubbiemolly @hanny_taylor1 oh thank goodness. That’s not how Poshmark works. People buy on the app and a sold sign goes immediately on your item. Then Poshmark collects your money for you and sends you a Canada post label by email. Your funds get released once the person receives your item and the funds go in your Poshmark balance. From there, you can either spend the balance on Poshmark or transfer it to your bank. Adding bank details is only done on the official app/website…not by email.
