lml123 Hi! I didn’t mean to make an insulting offer, but even though the yellow box flip flips awe NOS, they are from the 90’s. They are adorable and I’d love to have them, but I’m not sure how sturdy they will be. The glue deteriorates over time. Anyway, if you change your mind I could go $30. Thanks, Leslie

mimiettecoco Thank you Leslie for writing me that. I didn’t expect to get this message. I had met you in the middle and you didn’t budge, so I declined, thinking you weren’t serious. Now I understand & it makes sense what your worry is. I’m going to go reinspect them with your glue concern in mind and report back to you. If what you’re saying applies to these, I’ll probably pull them from my inventory. I’d never knowingly list something with that problem. I love people like you. Thank you dearly.

mimiettecoco Reinspected the flip flops & reporting back: They have zero signs of the glue deteriorating. I looked on all sides of them, gave them a gentle pull where the strap connects to the bottom, nothing. I put them on, gently walked on my carpet and they feel very sturdy. Now, I did not run in them -lol. Who knows past what I’ve described? I do know I walk around in 70s/80s/90s shoes all the time and any issue I’ve ever had is easily fixed. It’s the gamble of wearing wonderful vintage! ✨
