I say this because I am still down and now taking antibiotics for pneumonia that settled in while I was so sedentary 😷 but......best day yet today and finally on the mend, thanks much for thoughts and prayers

heatmil @patti7 oh God is so good and faithful!! Less pain and more range of motion 3 hours after surgery, and just continuing to strengthen and improve! Closet still on hold because I cannot drive to get to the post for 6 weeks, but hoping to go back to work 1/2 days on the 28th. We will see what doc says on 23rd 😘😘😘

demarcoscloset @heatmil oh, my!! Bless your heart! A hip replacement is no easy surgery! I taught elementary school (now I'm retired, thank goodness!) and was on my feet all day. I wore thick soft socks with them. It saved me! Yikes!

demarcoscloset @heatmil i have heard of Vionic being really good!! Have you tried Oofos? They are amazing... Like walking on a cloud!! I had severe plantar fasciitis last summer and my cousin told me about them. I tried them and now I have several pair. They are recovery sandals. You probably wouldn't wear them to work. Just after you get home. They look like flip flops but, girl, are they good!!

heatmil @daffodildog23 both hips done since January, anterior approach. Increased ROM and decreased pain immediately. Now to get over my pneumonia with streptococcus + blood cultures from being knocked down, ugh. But, getting better, God is good. Thank you for your prayers 🙏🏼🤗

heatmil @laurasim I was recently promoted at work and not considered “direct patient care” staff anymore, so I no less ne’er have to wear closed toed shoes. I wore a pair of navy 3 strap Birks today with my black socks and black/white/blue shirt! I do love them♥️♥️♥️
