Now that I really feel like I'm part of a community here, I'm finally ready to "introduce" myself. About 10 years ago, I was diagnosed which Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It was hard, but I was tougher, and I beat it. Now I sit here 10 years later with a very short time left to live. Today, April 13, is exactly 6 months from when a team of doctors estimated my life span at 1 year. It's strange to think you could blink out of existence in just 6 months, but Poshmark has given me a REASON. Thank you all!

heathermarieb13 @trendsettress That's the worst part for me. I moved to Arizona from Kansas about 10 years ago and never made a single friend here. As of February, I've now lost both of my parents, too. I do have a pretty awesome husband, but it's not the same as having friends/a friend. Being on here, doing the follow games, etc makes me feel like I have friends, which has been a huge boost. Thanks especially to you-- for some reason you feel like a friend. Thank you for that.

I did nurse my father who had lymphoma and HIV so I’ve had small glimpse, but when it’s your body that’s giving up on you, that must feel.. powerless. You get your friendship where you need it. There’s certainly a lot of awesome ladies on here who are kind and don’t mess around with negativity.

My father was given 3 months to live after being diagnosed with lung cancer and he lived another 3 fiesty years. He and his doctors stayed hopeful, prayerful and positive. You do the same. fladaw60 By the way my hair is the length of yours on your picture due to alopecia. 4 months ago I was entirely bald in the back with bald spots in various places on my head. All tests came back negative except for alopecia. The kind I have the hair will fall out, grow back repeat. But I am not worried it is only hair. So stay positive.

My first reaction to this was “oh shit” and from a subjective context “I would get into shenanigans !” if I had a fixed time frame for living. The Doctor told her she outlived modern medicine. A sweet friend of mine from high school was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer a year before I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer... I just celebrated my 7 year milestone. 8 for her!! I truly believe only God knows when our work is done here on earth.

My brother's doctors gave him a six month diagnosis but fought for ten years afterwards so on your worse day keep fighting. Poshmark has really helped me through all the darkness I have felt, such wonderful people. I'll be thinking of you daily.

There is a company called life extension based in Florida ,cutting edge tech & always new trials you might qualify for .Vitamin A C D especially can boost your immune system . My dad died of Hodgkins in the 70’s when I was 10 , the pain he went thru was terrible , they now know it is environmental ..he worked for Pfizer ( chemicals to blame ) take care ! Carol H

I was diagnosed with cancer in March of this year but I am spared, for now.
