rebecca_24 Hi, sorry for bothering you but I noticed that you had purchased a MAC setting spray from Angelina Speer! I had also purchased one from her and it is FAKE!!! You have the right to know and that is why I’m telling you. I took mine to the Mac store and they themselves have confirmed that it was fake. The smell was so strong that they believed the setting spray contains lots of harmful chemicals that can damage skin. Please be careful with the item and report Angelina Speer.

heather_kq @rebecca_24 are you serious?! I wondered why it had such a strong smell!? But I had never tried it before so I just assumed that was how it was supposed to smell!! I think I’m done with Poshmark. I got a knock off Urban Decay palette the other day and didn’t notice until after I accepted the order.

rebecca_24 @heather_kq Lucky I didn’t accept my purchase and was able to receive my money back! I personally emailed Poshmark via email and I sent them a message on Facebook about Angelina Speer. To report her, I just went on her page and on the very top right there were three dots and I just clicked that and I was able to report her!

rebecca_24 It’s so frustrating when wanting to buy authentic makeup for cheap! I really have to do lots of research on the makeup product and ask the seller to add pictures of the serial numbers. Every authentic makeup has to have serial numbers. Angelina Speer’s setting spray had a fake serial number on the box but not on the Product bottle itself.

heather_kq @rebecca_24 well the Urban Decay palette I got has serial numbers on the box and palette but one of the shade names has a typo. So I figured that was a pretty big indication that it’s not authentic. I should have looked at it better before accepting the order so that is my fault. I would have never guessed that the mac setting spray wasn’t authentic though. I don’t know why people want to sell fake makeup! It really aggravates me. I wasted a lot of money on two items now that aren’t authentic!

ohseedeez @heather_kq @rebecca_24 Poshmark takes a very dim view of counterfeit goods--it is cause for someone to be banished from the site--so please report anyone you think is selling shitty goods. Use the button at the top of a closet with three dots or contact customer support or use the drop down under your picture--select Support and Help. HQ sends me listings of reported counterfeit items to review so I know they do something with the reports.

ohseedeez @heather_kq @rebecca_24 This thing about the serial number on UD palettes isn't always true because I have some vintage palettes I bought directly from UD or Ulta and they do not have serial numbers. That is probably for newer palettes. Another way to get a feel for who someone is is to look at their love notes. If they have a lot of sales and no reviews then that's a clue to quality of the products they sell.

ohseedeez @heather_kq @rebecca_24 If you are interested, I have so much inventory of department store and drug store brand cosmetic items--a lot of it is not listed yet so just ask if you want something you don't see--I probably have it. Depending on the brand, my inventory comes from Ulta, Macys, Sephora, Walgreens, or directly from the manufacturer. I am a crazy coupon double points cash back dork which is how I buy at low enough price points to be profitable.

ohseedeez @heather_kq @rebecca_24 One more thing--last week I bought 3 beautiful dresses and was pissed when I opened the box and they reeked like cigarette smoke. It was over the holiday weekend so no one was at Posh to respond to my complaint until after the 3 day period had passed but they gave me a complete refund as a courtesy anyway. It did show in the woman’s post the typo on the palette. I should have looked closer. The Mac fix plus I had never used before so I didn’t know until someone told me on here it was a fake.

In the future, if you feel uncomfortable or just want to double check, ask the seller for a receipt of purchase😉 a lot of people shop online so they have the emails with confirmations/receipts. If they’re not willing to show you then don’t buy the item! I hope it doesn’t ruin ur shopping experience on here😘
