speedy228 @heathercr1688 yes you just have to pop it out and lift the cover. it takes a E90 energizer battery.

speedy228 please keep in mind that the alarm hand needs to be adjusted first...it will not keep proper time if it is sticking out.

heathercr1688 @speedy228 I think I will select a different clock. I appreciate your honesty. I have a watch that doesn't keep very good time so I was going to use this as my time double checker😄
