heatherbco @megwags0126 it should have been unpaired. I believe I reset it to factory settings to make sure there wouldn’t be any issues

megwags0126 Hi Heather. Thank you. You removed it from the Find I phone icon? For some reason when I try to pair it with my phone using my Apple ID, it tells me it is the incorrect Apple ID. I am trying to solve the problem without having to go to the Mac store! Can you check that the watch is removed from the find I phone icon? Thank you. Megan

megwags0126 I believe if you go to the my iPhone icon in your phone, you can select to erase a device. Thanks so much.

heatherbco @megwags0126 So I actually have a new phone, but when I turned in the other phone, which it was paired to, I removed everything, and reset everything to factory settings. When I turned in the phone to ATT, they made sure everything was done. My new phone was never paired to that watch. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help you out. I'm so sorry you are having difficulty, I followed tutorials online to try to make sure I did everything correctly to avoid this issu

megwags0126 Thanks so much. I appreciate it. I unpaired the Apple Watch I previously owned and paired it back and was able to use my Apple ID and everything worked fine, but when I try to add the watch from you, it tells me it is the incorrect Apple ID. I will try and take it to the Apple store in the mall and see if they can help me.

heatherbco @megwags0126 again, I am so sorry. I followed some tutorials on YouTube to do everything I needed to do, but apparently, I didn't do anything right? Please keep me posted and feel free to reach out to me if you need any other info from me. I'm so sorry you are having to do this. This was definitely not my intention when selling it.

megwags0126 Hi Heather. So, I think I need your Apple ID to set up the watch. It is telling me that the Apple ID is b…..@Gmail.com. Is that your Apple ID? I really don’t want to have to get your Apple ID because then I will need your password as well. I have been looking at YouTube videos and if I can’t figure it out, I will have to go to the Apple store. And I am not sure they will be able to help me. I keep resetting the watch but it doesn’t seem to work.

megwags0126 Just watched another YouTube video and the Apple Watch does have to be removed from your iCloud or I won’t be able to use it.

megwags0126 Perhaps if you go to settings on your iPhone and click on I cloud, and remove the watch from your iCloud.

heatherbco I'm working on trying to figure out how to remove it from my iCloud. Like I said before, I restored it to factory settings thinking that would be good enough. That is my Apple ID and if that is the only we can do it, I can change my password to something different for you and then change it back to what my real password is. I'm willing to do whatever I need to help you out.

It wasn't on the iCloud on my phone or when I logged on online, but when I pulled up the app on my computer it was still there.
