shinysquirrelpa @baron126 can I please ask you something about weird questions that may be legitimate or an attempt at scamming me after taking over long term sellers Accounts? I've contacted..tried to contact customer support twice this last week without any reply from them. I'm afraid I'm screwing up and the things I'm thinking are signs of scammers are not that at all. If im wrong I've insulted people and thrown away a half dozen sales to boot.

shinysquirrelpa @isuzie Ty so much! Basically I'm receiving messages from legitimate sellers accounts that are asking for additional photos of my listed but there are multiple red flags: it's clear they aren't from a native English speaker (when the account holder clearly is a native speaker), they all want me to take pictures but put them somewhere weird..usually on THEIR About Me section.

shinysquirrelpa So, all the ones worded like that one I know are crap. But I just got one that's slightly different. And I think it's a scam but I'm new and maybe I'm missing something. I receive 6 to 12 if these a day. I was able to verify one was definitely not from the actual account holder and her account was hacked.

shinysquirrelpa hold on, a whole section of my message isn't here, lol. Il had to cut amd then copy and paste because I wrote too much amd I apparently lost a section, geez. Im sorry, give me a sec to rewrite the middle part...I'm sorry it'll be all out of order!

I actually combined two separate paragraphs but they aren't in order. The more I try to correct this the worse I'm making it...I' m embarrassing myself.

baron126 @shinysquirrelpa All I know is if it doesn't feel right it's not! If they ask for more pictures I only go back to my listing and add pictures or measurements for them to see in the listing. I do not and will not send any pictures or info to cell numbers or email addresses. Just..... Stay within the scope of the Poshmark app. If they really want something they will purchase through the app. But I have had no issues reaching out to customer service for info or advise. Keep trying

shinysquirrelpa @edbaker16 I've been reporting them because it infuriates me! Within 35 seconds of me listing something they start sending these messages and I'm beyond tired if it. I message Poshmark but get no response. Is it always like this? Sorry but im so so frustrated!

edbaker16 @shinysquirrelpa it is frustrating! They do tend to target new users so although you’ll still get one from time to time they should slow down the longer you are on the platform. Just flag as spam or transaction off Poshmark and the comments will be deleted.

shinysquirrelpa @edbaker16 thank you for the information. Knowing that they'll likely slow down once I'm here for awhile is good to hear. Honestly, I have spent the day trying to talk myself out of just deleting my closet. But they aren't running me off, screw that!

shinysquirrelpa I've spent the day going back and forth about whether to stay or quit but screw them. They aren't running me off! There are really nice people here and it sucks these useless leeches won't stop harassing us! Again, thanks for the info, I joined wanted to make sure it was as totally sketchy as it appeared to be! pippisan Welcome to Poshmark selling! Remember don’t take anything outside of Poshmark. Your pictures are fine, they know you’re real, you don’t need to email, text or call anyone for anything. It’s actually against Poshmark policy. They are just trying to scam you. Poshmark will notify you through email and your News feed if you make a sale. Happy Poshing!🎉
