I noticed that you're new, and I just wanted to give you a kind heads up (especially given the 1st comment above & your recent offer on a piece in my Kloset)- When you place an offer for an item- it's always best to start with an offer *greater than half the listed price*. It's extremely unlikely that a seller will accept any lower than 1/2, and most will not take it seriously and ignore it. Some even take offense, considering it "lowballing"

because of how little the seller would make from that total. I love to counter back & forth! I also love to get a great deal, so I totally get where you're coming from. You never know till you ask- but most sellers do not think that way, and I'd hate for you to get negative messages as a result! Or just never hear back on your offers, you know?

See, you may even be willing to go higher, but the owner only sees "I have an $18 piece & this girl only offered me $5? Ignore". Just FYI! at the lowest, It's safest to start with a bit more than half for the best result. Thanks for your interest, tho! I will totally send you a counter offer :)

Thanks for the tips! However, I have been starting low & getting what I want... I also have a set price that I'm willing to pay for USED clothing because you never know what you are going to get & can't return... I'm also a little cautious bc I have heard my friends horror stories about no returns & receiving JUNK/ not from you but other sellers.. Poor people...

Ughh yes, those stories are awful! So unfortunate, but the good news is you can ALWAYS return any item purchased here on poshmark if it is in bad condition or different than described. No seller can touch your money until you accept it and release the earnings! That's the only way I feel safe shopping here 👍🏼👍🏼 if you ever get in a bind, you can just go to "my purchases" & open a case!

Btw @tanda11 you'll see our comments just fine when it's on one of your listings, but when you try to communicate back, I like to think of posh like Twitter!
