Hi Helen, I wanted to reach out and let you know that the Canadian Goose Parka you purchased is from a scam account. Just about every account with these jackets are. The super low price is a red flag.
The sellers photos are duplicates. They have multiple new accounts using the same photos. I've been flagging them, but Poshmark takes forever to take them down.

@threads4living I'd assumed it was a factory second, or return. Thank for this heads up, I'll contact Poshmark and my credit card, but assume that Ill to wait until the delivery date comes and goes before anything is done. i appreciate you taking a moment to contact me.

@lochness3 Hopefully they don't ship anything and after 7 days you can cancel the order. These scammers are altering the shipping address to a house close to the buyers home. They ship empty boxes to the altered address. Then it shows that it's delivered. If you see it show up as delivered, but not to you, do not accept the package. File a claim right away. That way the scammers don't get paid.

@lochness3 Another thing that works is to post on the sellers closet asking to cancel your order. Let them know you realize they are a scam. Other poshers have done this and then the scammer knows you are on to them. They may not cancel, but they usually don't ship anything knowing that they have been reported.

I checked my credit card and PM has given me a full refund for shipping, and cancelled the order. I submitted an Accidental Purchase form and even though its been longer than a few hours, they honored my request. I'm so relieved. Went back and checked photos for various CG- you're right, same backgrounds model and often, seller description

@threads4living PM gets extra points for fast response. Your description of this con made perfect sense. Dozens of theoretically different sellers all using the same pics and often, seller info. A similar scam hit Etsy a few years ago. Etsy alerted sellers described the con, company policies and federal legal boundaries of what they and victims can and can't do about it.
